Averaging 8 points less than the regular season which wouldn't be bad if not for his usual playoff inefficiency(37%)
That's to go along with 6 turnovers a game and mediocre defence.
Sorry frauden Stan's i hate to say I told you so but.....

overall FG%: .371
3p%: .375
2p%: .357
No wonder he's shooting 12 3PA per game.
Only Westbrook is on the same level.
21.3PPG on 20 FGA, 36%/30% shooting :lol

Yeah man and the jazz are pretty much giving him the lane to drive and he still can barely score in the mid range or at the hoop.

Chris Paul shot the same FG% as Harden last night with a worse TS%
Why is that not being discussed?
Harden: 30 points 19 shots 8FTA
Paul: 23 points 19 shots 6FTA

People always want to bag on Harden any chance they can get.
Despite that one crappy game and a small sample size in the playoffs, Harden is still giving the Rockets 28.3 ppg - 8.5 apg - 7.0 rpg - 2.0 spg and 37.5% 3p

His team is up 3-1 :confusedshrug: that's what matters. Don't bring his name up with Westbrook, who's down 1-3.

3/20 FG (15%)
2/13 3P% (15.4%)
1/7 2P% (14%)
Thank god this team can win even with that kind of performance.

I thought this could be harden's year; I really did
I fell for the regular season hype and I haven't done that in a while

You think it's gonna change? This is who he is. He takes advantage of the slack reg season defenses and the generous regular season whistles and people like you think he's the best in the league. Then post season comes and the refs let them play a bit more and teams are actually playing defence and hardens isn't nearly as effective.

I'm just pointing out that he changed his opinion after 4 games like the clown that he is.
And what do you mean by do I think he will change? Which aspect? Do I think he will average 36 for the entire postseason? No.

It Doesn't have to be 36. Even 26 on good efficientcy would be fine. 28 on 37% shooting with 6 turnovers and mediocre defence isn't great. He hasn't looked like an MVP or even a top 5 player. Hes getting away with it because of how bad the jazz are but that won't get it done against better teams.

Okay so in that case, Yes I think he'll have a better, more efficient series next round (WCSF) assuming they beat the Jazz.

Only reason why his FG% is low is because of that abysmal game 3 where he shot 3/20. Still came up clutch in the 4th quarter tho. Rockets are up 3-1 to a pretty good Jazz team. That's what matters.

OP had to wait until the Rockets lost a game to post this. He was probably loathing at the fact the Rockets went up 3-0.

I'm not impressed, Houston can't even dispose of Utah and Utah is having their worst shooting stretch of 2018-2019, they are shooting 40% FG/27% From 3 a team that shoots the same exact percentage as Houston from 3, and 47% from he field during the regular season.
Harden is slawbage, why does him and Westbrook get away with being so great, but they turn the ball over so much?

What are you people talking about, Rockets are up 3-1
Are you guys watching Rockets vs Jazz in an alternate dimension?

Jazz were 2nd in the league in defensive efficiency, just fractionally behind the Bucks.
http://www.espn.com/nba/hollinger/teamstats/_/sort/defensiveEff/order/false
They won 13 of their last 16 games and all 3 losses were close. Let's not pretend the Jazz are a weak team.

They're not even properly guarding him and his shot is off :lol
The Rockets try to switch him onto Rubio who can't seem to properly defend Harden and yet he's still off
Rockets are lucky they're not entering game 5 with the series tied. Seriously doubt they'll best Warriors or Bucks if they meet up
