westbrook is a mini d-wade the way he puts pressure on teams except he is not nearly as efficient which is a huge flaw - just shows the gap between the true greats and the all-star level players.

Kobe would have never wont sheeet without PHIL JACKSON. Guys like Westbrook and Kobe with giant egos need superior coaching to ever amount to anything at the championship level...

Even Shaq and Kobe couldnt win together without Phil Jackson to control their selfish egos.

wade was much smoother, smarter, craftier and possesed elite floater at least when he couldnt get a layup or dunk.

their mentality and play-style are different but they are both hyperathletic guards who like to attack - wade was a much smarter player and he had better touch around the rim. westbrook is one of those guys I always feel like has the potential to be much better, despite the already impressive padded stats.

Westbrook been getting roasted EVERYWHERE. I love it, I hope it makes him stronger. He's not the type to get bothered by everyone trolling him, even by unathletic nerds on this website who don't ball.

Terrible comparison. Westbrick is all athleticism. Wade may not have been a particularly good shooter, but he was a far more skilled ball handler and finisher around the rim. He also had a damn good post game. They are nothing alike besides that they are guards that were great athletes.

not a terrible comparison at all son. go watch some young wade highlights. he was reckless and fearless attacking the rim but had a better feel for the game, which is exactly my point.

Wade was always good with that floater/toss shot. In the 3-10 range he shot .457% for his career. Russell Westbrook? .310%. If Brick doesn't get all the way to the rim for a power move he's basically useless driving. He's now 30 and has never developed anything else going at the rim. You even see this in there 0-3 feet %. Because Wade was so skilled and didn't just have to go to a power move he was shooting in the mid to high 60s during his prime at rim. Westbrook has basically been sub 60% around the rim. Wade is just too much more skilled for this comparison to work.
