I've said it for a while now, and I like Paul George, but he didn't want to come to LA because he didn't want to compete at a high level. He is probably legit happy with another low expectations 1st round exit so he can come back home and chill.

Sad but true. Why else would you choose OKC Westbrook over LAL Lakers. He knew if he went to the Laker with Bron it was "Finals or bust " whereas with Westbrook it's "maybe we care if you get out of the 1st round." Much lower expectations, Much less work to do.

I think LeBron / Leonard is more terrifying

If he's upset he should be upset at himself as well. He chocked down the stretcdh and doesn't know how to run any sort of offense in curnch time other than iso. They need a new coach and shooters around them. Maybe move Russ off the ball more I don't know but they are a shit show down the stretch no way they should have lost that game

Upset is an understatement... Imagine if he went back East, lets say signed with Philly, Boston, Toronto or even Detroit.

Lol. Finals or bust. The guy that he was supposed to carry in LA can't even crack 40 wins in the Western Conference. Why would he team up with that dude?

As volatile at Westbrook is, he's still a better teammate than the guy that just tried to get his entire roster traded.

PG started off hot but had some huge freethrow misses. Not sure how he's gonna escape blame tomorrow morning.

George should get the same amount of blame as Westbrook.

Game 1: 8/24 with 4/15 on mostly wide open 3s & 4 TOs to lose by 5 pts
Game 3: 3/16 2/7 from 3 when the game should have been over by the 3rd quarter but kept Portland in it
Game 4: 8/21 with 4 TOs

Shot well in elimination but missed 3 FTs and had a killer turnover in the last 6 or so minutes, Lillard's shot was pure luck but they deserved to lose that game.

Not sure how you're defining "pure luck". There's empirical evidence of this dude hitting shots like this from this range.

And PG13 won't get blamed because he isn't Westbrook or KD. Media hates both of these guys and can't wait until either of them slip up. Westbrook just happens to be first up.

He hit a contested half-court shot in the last second, the odds of him making that shot are not high. Wide open? I'd give you that. It was well contested but it's not a shot he's going to make at a high rate and it's not like he's Steph Curry as a 3-point shooter either.

It was a great shot, but to do that in a tie game with plenty of time to run up a more efficient play?

to be fair, it't hard for PG to do anything when there's a dude who's not named kobe or harden jacked up 31 shots in the game...

this game in 95% on westbrook.

Westbrook and PG are both to blame. But this is a coaching issue in OKC.

Hero ball doesn't work in the playoffs, and that's all they do. If Westbrook is the reason, it's up to the coach to take charge. They need someone like Larry Brown in there, who will implement a structured offense with designed sets and won't take any BS from Westbrook. Westbrook will be a better player for it.
