DURANT - missed playoffs his first 2 years... 1st round exit in 3rd year

CURRY - missed playoffs his first 3 years

LEBRON - missed playoffs his first 2 years

GIANNIS - missed playoffs 2 years and 3 first round exits in first 5 seasons

KYRIE - missed playoffs his first 3 years

And on and on ...

good players are drafted by lottery teams, so young players shouldn't be knocked for their early records, right??.. :confusedshrug:

Those heat added leading scorer lamar odom and also haslem

And of course, Wade averaged 16 ppg and was carried, versus young MJ at 30+ and doing the carrying himself

The Wade example shows you how insignificant 1-9 is because Wade made the 2nd round averaging 18 ppg............ wait for it ......... .......... :yaohappy:

Dude was hitting playoff game winners his rookie year, dropping 40 on the best defense in the league his sophemore year, and by his 3rd year in the league was dragging the Heat back from the dead in the Finals to win the championship. Literally only a handful of players have had a better first 3 years to their careers than Wade

MJ averaged 44 against the #1 defense in 1986 and goat team (Celtics)

While Wade only needed 18 to make the 2nd round

And then he got Shaq in his 2nd season, who was runner-up for mvp, yet still LOST

So gtfo comparing him to MJ

If Wade's 18 ppg gets him to the 2nd round, then MJ's 44 ppg probably wins the ring with Lamar and Caron in 04'

The mention of Wade itt (as if that's a rebuttal) makes my point

Wade was 22 his rookie year..Kobe already had two rings at that age and put up 29/7/6 on a 15 - 1 Playoff team.

Exactly

Kobe's play against the 01' Spurs is better than anything Wade ever did

And rookie Wade only needed 18 ppg to make the 2nd round

Obviously, MJ would've done that and much more on Wade's team

Otoh Wade can't match the stats MJ needed

ppg lol But what about PACE

I see why you didn't "care" about rebounds assists and defense as an MJ fan, ONLY ppg. Because Pippen did everything else for you...

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led a team projected to win 22-35 wins to 48 wins, a 31 point comeback win as the biggest underdogs in decades. Put up 14/3/2 with 1.5 steals/1 block on 42/54/92 shooting.

And Wade didn't have a 32 y.o Shaq who was playing at an MVP level in 05?

Who cares about team records?

Derek Fisher has the most playoff wins ever...MJ is better than everyone else when his teams lost :confusedshrug:
