If Middleton plays like a star, Bucks probably win, otherwise Celtics win. The Bucks beyond Giannis are just a bunch of guys and you dont win in the playoffs with a bunch of guys, as we've seen time and again. Recent reference: Pacers, Indiana.

If the Celtics' defense curtails the Bucks' high powered scoring machine to keep the game close enough for the ultimate closer in Irving to hit clutch baskets, they can steal the series. The Celtics have a good mixture of youth and veterans, and a deep bench, and looked good in the first round.

But because Giannis is suddenly morphing into the Best Player in the World, and the Bucks are elite at both ends of the floor: #1 in scoring during the regular season (118.1 ppg), actually improved to 121.8 ppg in their first round sweep of the hapless Pistons, and third in FG% (0.476) and 11th in points allowed (109.3 ppg) but that is inflated by their fast pace, for they actually lead the league in defensive FG% (0.433) and point differential (8.8 ppg)... they'll win.

Last year the Celtics barely edged the Bucks in a 7 game series, but they were missing Irving and Hayward. Then again the Bucks are much improved and Giannis is even better now than he was last year.

Even though a mod (prolly RMWG) has been alerted to sticky the other thread now, sensible ball heads will continue discussion in here (unless it gets smoked).

Keep it up!
