Yes, and it makes me sad to contemplate the not too distant future when they also pass away.

That era of basketball was too long ago for me to appreciate but I know he is a NBA legend. RIP.

Is there a modern player that plays like him?

I was fortunate to see him play , and court vision and game men ship was his forta'

Playing in the Russell era , and continued playing as a Celtic into the 70's.
Easy player to watch , as a SF he ran the floor , had a deadly jumper, and could pass as well as rebound.
Many stated he was a complete player , and he truly was.
Proto type player - he was it.
I am sure he enjoyed watching Lebron, George, as well as marveled over Durant and Giannis.
His starting center was Cowan's who stood 6'9"..
So you can see how the NBA has changed.

He moved over to the SG late in his career as did DR.J .
His jumper , and slashing was there , but foot speed slowed, and his defense took a hit.

Just an easy player to watch.
RIP HOF'er.

You Bransvestites are classless.

Can't even pay respect to a dead man without your BS.

You're like the third Bransvestite so far.

Pure scum.

Mentioning kobe in this thread when you damn well know you wasted your life failing to defend a guy who lost 6 times in the finals.
