This is a joke. Jeanie is bringing FKING Kurt Rambis' wife to the meetings. Watch out league. We got a special events organizer leading the hire search for coaches.

the last time Lebron James won the MVP was during 12-13
this also leads me to ponder what exactly do they plan on doing with the 2019 1st round pick
Jeannie Buss believes in sex sells, yet she fails to realize these are human being getting paid millions if not tens of millions. This is where NBA charity conflicts with franchise story-lines

the funny thing is Jim Buss actually drafted well... he wasn't the problem at all
can they put him back in charge
and can they get d'angelo, randle, nance, clarkson, zubac back?

They really need to get a management team that has been around the league for a while ...
Free lancing like Jeanie's dad isn't a good move anymore.

It was Ryan West who has done the drafting all those years except now he's promoted even higher in the same field.... that hasn't changed brotha.
my condolences laker fans. it all started going downhill with little jimmy and now little jeanie wants in on the fun. poor jerry buss, turns out he ended up with two moron children who want to compete over destroying his team and legacy

This whole situation screams Office reorgs.
Pelinka is Kobe's guy.
Lebron was Magic's guy
Jeanie has no loyalty to any of the management but also has questionable people in charge.
Lebron had a supporter in Magic but Jeanie has shown she will not allow him to make control of things.
I actually think it could be interesting to see how Lebron interacts with Jeanie and team. They aren't the ones who pushed for him. His supporter(Magic) is gone.

The thing is... Magic wasn't dedicated to the job. Its a 24/7 job. Pelinka made it a point to say "wheres magic" when he entered a room because Magic was never around. He wasnt the guy to lead the team. He thought it was going to be different.

I could believe that. Magic does a lot of venture capitalism and multiple businesses. I always think any team looking for a coach needs to look at highly successful coaching trees (popavich's)
Snag an assistant there.

I think regardless of how accomplished a female owner can be, they are still female. They think emotional.
Emotional decisions without some logic are never good. Lakers need a strong head coach.
The divorced mother analogy is kinda true lol. Divorced mom who gets high amounts of child support that can do desperate house wives things.

Who would have thought that having a former playboy bunny skank run a professional basketball team would be a bad idea?

Don't think it has anything to do with her being female. Doesn't even come close to being as inept as Dolan or Sterling. It's hard to say no to Magic, and the injuries aren't her fault.
Lakers will end up with Lue as HC because that's who Lebron trusts.
