For me, Pete Rozelle. NFL commissioner from 1960 to 1989. From 1950-1959, he worked for the Olympics Committee/LA Rams eventually became a GM. Then got hired to be the NFL comissioner moving the league's office from Pennsylvania to midtown Manhattan.
He made the NFL the NFL it is today and all before social media criticized almost any move done by a major figure in any career field.
How about you guys?

There is nobody in the entire world that I wish I were them instead of myself. Not one.
If I wanted something enough, I would chase it... and I would get it.
For the most part, our reality is shaped by our thoughts. If you channel enough energy and effort and time into basically anything, you can do it. Most people don't believe that, but I assure you, that's exactly how it works.
Of course, there are exceptions. No amount of energy and dedication is going to make you 7 foot tall with a 48" vertical, but generally speaking... that's exactly how it works.

I definitely would not pick the life of a male porn star, those guys are as ****ed up as the women in porn are. Heh.
But, pleasure seeking considerations being the only thought... probably Scott Nails. I had to look that up, but yeah, that guy with the huge arm tattoo has nailed most of the hottest pornstars.

I disagree with the bolded part. Everybody has different ceilings, and not only physically speaking. There is some stuff that the average joe will simply never achieve, no matter how hard he tries. Life is just not fair

It's as if you just completely disregarded the last paragraph and dismissed its relevance to my overarching point, lol. Nice.

No i didnt dismiss it. I just feel like threre is more than just a few exceptions . There is a lot of goals people never achieve in their lifetime and it isn't simply due to lack of effort or physical shortcomings.
Edit: No matter how hard he works on it Lebron will never be an 85% free throw shooter. And no matter how hard Kevin Garnett studies he will never be accepted in a medical school.

No?
Let me clue you and everyone else in on something.
If you decide ahead of time, you can't do something... then... you can't.
If you decide you can do something and you pursue it relentlessly, it greatly increases your chances. It might take you 10 years, but you can do it.
Now, keep in mind... nothing is going to give you athleticism beyond what your body is capable of producing with optimal training, and nothing is going to turn you into Einstein... but...
Generally speaking? Yep. What I said is absolutely, 100% dead on balls accurate.
Most people don't like to admit it because then they have to look in the mirror and own SOME level of responsibility.

Ok, what would you put the percentage at?
70%? 80%? I am certain that somewhere from 70% to 90%+ of people never achieve their dreams because somewhere along the way they decided they can't, or someone else convinced them that they can't.
I would say it's extremely conservative to say that at least 75% of people in the United States could achieve their dreams if they relentlessly pursued them.
Not everyone dreams of being a pro athlete or President of the United States or a Nobel Peace Prize recipient.
Look at Elon Musk? He's already shitting on virtually everyone with SpaceX after being told "no, no, no" even by the people he idolized growing up. I'd say there's a good chance he gets us to Mars before he leaves this planet because of his obsessive mindset of "can do" instead of "can't do."
Not everyone can take it as far as Elon Musk, but the vast majority of people can take it waaaaaayyyyyyy further than they believe in their hearts, which is where the war is ultimately won and lost for the vast majority.

Exactly. Use a marathon or losing weight as an example. If most people really want to run a full marathon and they're motivated to train their bodies and challenge themselves then they can do it. Period. And if they feel they can't do a marathon then guess what...they can't.

Any NBA player really...but I especially thought it would be enjoyable to be a role player on championship teams. Don't get me wrong, everyone wants to be Kobe and Steph, but imagine living life as Robert Horry. Got to play with 4 of the 10 all time greats, 7 time champion, hit some HUGE shots...yet can still live a day to day life without being mobbed by fans and is still rich beyond most of our means.
That's the life.
But realistically? EJ. I want NOTHING MORE than to be paid to watch NBA games....
