Look where his feet take off and where they land. And look at Green's feet.

This is why he deserves to lose. If only he'd just focus on making the shot instead of premeditating a flop, he might actually make the shot... who knows, lol.

I agree he alters his shot to draw a foul and you wont get those calls in WCSF with 4 seconds left

If it was regular season probably but not in WCSF buzzer beaters

Nah but there has to be something on the warriors at the end of that play. Curry and Klay are just throwing themselves in people's way to run out time/make sure the ball goes out.

if Curry fouled someone in this clip, then there were at least 9000 fouls this game. not sure what you would blow the whistle on Curry for

Chris Paul (routinely) intentionally throws himself into people and flails his arms like an out of control inflatable tube man, with screams afterwards as if he's getting raped. this time it wasn't called. thank god.

Not even close to being a foul

The initial push-off was far closer to being an actual offensive foul if they HAD to call something, but they rarely call that anyway so it's whatever. He wasn't fouled on the attempt and even if he were the fact he did a completely unnatural shooting motion should prevent any ref from calling it a foul in the first place

Last shot?? Not foul at all, less in playoffs

Some shots during the game? Yes.

Nah, that isn't a foul. There were 2 others earlier that should have been a foul but this wasn't a foul.

I think per modern NBA rules, if you take a 3 pointer drop kick, and the defender touches your foot, then it's a foul. So yes, it's technically a foul.

I think it was part of the new rules on the way three pointers should be called, that led to a league wide record a few years ago for most four point plays in the first round. Forcing the defender to give the shooter more space.

So yes Ben Simmons 25, Harden got fouled. You have to adjust to the modern game and James Harden is the master at that.

Probably, yes.

But the true atrocity were the 3 1st quarter/half fouls by Thompson on Harden and the 3 in which Durant slapped Paul's wrist, a SIX point swing (no 3, technical+2 fastbreak points).

So all in all another heavily impacted/influenced Golden State win.

The Warriors way, as we call it.

Bottom feeding stuff.

There is a foul, but it is an offensive foul. He is pushing Green with his elbow to create space for the shot.

Also that type of flops are too risky, he can break defenders leg/foot.

I feel sorry for Harden because the NBA gave him those calls all season and now they suddenly stop.

Im not even a Harden fan but thats cold blooded what the Nba did.

Wtf you talking about?

After the leg kicking started becoming too prominent, the league issued a mandate to refs to stop giving the foul call on these ninja kick plays. The rule is that the shooting player gets the space underneath where they left the floor to jump shoot to land in unimpeded, not the space 3 feet in front of where their feet left the floor.

I'm mostly goofing around to see...

I think what James Harden is trying to do is irritating, particularly the way he falls down.

I used the fact that there was one year where four point plays kept happening left and right in the first round, due to modifications to cripple the defender to poke a little fun on softer rules. But I don't remember the year. It's never talked about.

As far as James Harden in this play, again, irritating because of his intentions. He's pushing the limit on that play, but it's technically a natural balancing motion, where as the arms extend so do BOTH legs. Iverson comes to mind. https://youtu.be/8Ls5OsQnUII?t=22 It's about balance and momentum.

What you're talking about is more of an unnatural kicking a foot out so that the defender would run into it. Harden is pushing the limit in this particular play, but it's not the same as this: https://videorulebook.nba.com/archive/offensive-foul-shooter-extends-leg-into-legal-defender/

And then this is a foul a defensive foul https://videorulebook.nba.com/archive/defensive-foul-defender-makes-illegal-contact-with-jump-shooter/

If it's a foul in the regular season it should be a foul in the postseason. That's why frustrates everyone is that they change the rules.

Fans accept it. Same thing as how they swallow the whistles when the game is on the line. Why are you using 2 rulebooks? I don't care if it's a carry or a lane violation. If it happens you call it. Otherwise the players take advantage of it and the sport loses integrity.

Happened when the league allowed THREE top 5 PER players in the league to team up for cheap rings

It was NOT a foul. He jumped forward and kicked his legs out with the sole purpose of baiting the refs into a foul, thinking that he would get the make-up call since they missed a couple in the first half...

Who shoots a three like that normally? He landed 3 feet forward from where he pulled up... how do you expect a defender to contest any 3-point shot if that is a foul?

If Harden doesn't kick his legs out, Dray doesn't even touch him after the shot. Harden shot it from about 3 Ft away from the line but Dray is supposed to give him space to land inside the 3PT line?

Klay jumping into Paul was pretty borderline too, but dude always expects to get away with everything
