All 3 Plumlee sons made the NBA...2 of them have 40-50 million dollar deals. The other on a two way Dleague deal with the Knicks making like 600k(relative to the others...that must suck).

All 5 Gronk brothers played/play pro sports. 4 NFL players and one who made it to MLB for the Angels.

Putting aside for now how amazing it must be to have the genes in your family to all by huge/athletic like that(Both of the Plumlees parents played D 1 basketball and their dad is 6'7'')....

Think it kinda sucks to be the one who doesnt get the millions?

Im sure the rich brothers help out....but damn. The third Plumlee brother is like...middle class rich right now far as what hes earned if hes got a home. He can make more if he hangs on in the league or even goes to Europe....but seeing your brothers both getting 14-15 million a year?

Ive seen that up close a couple times with some of KGs family he left here and before that...Shammond williams and his little brother(Who is now a coach in college). You see the pride but the bitterness too.

Think the pride beats it out with you when you see your brother making that Plumlee/Gronk money and you make "OH your brother is ___?" money? Which is still good money...but not tycoon money

Im sure a family with 3-5 pro athletes is eating pretty well but...still. Who wants to be that other Manning brother? Not that Cooper isnt doing ok...he has a show on fox sports. But your dad was a probowler and your brothers combine for 4 superbowls? Its pretty clear who low man on the totem pole is.

Same genes...I bet its hard to figure out how the others get so far ahead of you Well not for Cooper...he had medical issues. But you know the third plumlee barely hanging on in the league wonders what they have that he doesnt. That shit would kill me inside.....but be hard to admit.

600k annually is more than "middle class rich"... that's literally on the high end of the spectrum of the upper class...

The Sutter family comes to mind. All 6 of them made the NHL.

Although they accrued nowhere near what these athletes are making today.

If it were annually. Hes 25 and thats roughly his career earnings. He has to sign a real contract to make the kind of money you can retire on. I knew people with a million in dope money before we were 21. People think its forever kinda rich at that age. It really isnt.

His dleague contract is like....supervisor at Target money.

How many years?

You said he's making "600k" so if that were annually, yes, he's beyond rich. It won't last forever, of course... but he only needs to last a few years at that rate to be able to retire np if he's not a moron.

If his entire deal is 600k and it's like a 5 year deal, not so much.

I said he had a 2 way deal with the knicks making 600k. I see I worded it oddly though.

And it was a year old. He didnt actually play in the NBA this year. He made 11K then 524K in two years half with the Knicks and half with the dleague. What I just read suggests he may...be in the army.

Yea...Wikipedia says hes active duty in the army right now. No proof though. He was on a two way deal with the bucks end of last year.

There's something else in life than money.

Pretty sure the lesser earning Plumlees are not "starving"

Of course, it's different if your goal in life is to have a rich lifestyle, huge house and cars...

Of course theres the other stuff. But you can have the other stuff....and money.

You can have the rest living in tin shack on the side of a hill in Mexico city.

Even worse...being the son of a superstar.

One of MJ's sons opened and runs a store built around Jordan Brand...imagine.
