Is KD getting his Dirk-esque fadeaway actually blocked? :oldlol:

KD is known to struggle vs physical high tier defenders. As a team they would destroy him.

^^^^ what tpols just said.. physicality, no spacing

Beverly, Tony Allen and others have proven that durant struggles against physicality

So Durant gets locked up like we've never seen before - worse than he did in the 13' ECSF, 14' WCF, or 16' WCF

Durant's kryptonite is physicality and lack of power (http://insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=466419)

Hurt? Try dead. No way he's surviving the trip to the ambulance while Darko is on the floor.

Idk if he'd force the issue as much as Kobe did, but I think he'd definitely struggle against them

Durant struggles one time against Tony Allen and all of a sudden he can't handle physical D

He just averaged 45ppg against the physical Clippers... and dropped 30 on Tony's head... Battiers head, etc.

That's the biggest myth running that KD can't handle physical D. EVERYBODY struggles once in a while... lmao at the ****ing standards for Durant

We've never seen players that are nearly a full foot shorter lock someone up in ANY game

That's how we know KD can't handle physicality

It would be like 5'6" Earl Boykins holding MJ to 20 points - that's ridiculous obviously, but that's what happens to KD because he can't handle physical 80's/90's type basketball

Nobody locks KD down.... his size and skill makes that impossible

He occasionally has a bad shooting night, that's it

What people call "shutting KD down" is him averaging 30 while not being as efficient as normal

He would absolutely feast, especially in the 90's with illegal defense. Would average 50 with a shortened 3point line

his hips are like 6 feet off the ground.

too easy to muscle off his spots, throw in the close quarters help its a wrap.

U made my point

Payton was only 2 inches shorter than MJ, while Beverly was a foot shorter than KD

The first and obvious answer is which Kevin Durant?

2016 OKC KD
2018 GSW KD
2019 GSW KD
2004 LAL + KD (-Kobe)

Big difference from

6'6 vs 6'2

&

7'0 vs 6'1

Depends on what team he has around him...

If you put him in Kobe's place, they're not beating the Pistons under the 2004 rules. Fisher, Payton, George etc couldn't hit a shot to save their lives and Malone got injured, Pistons would force the ball out of KD's hands and the result would be the same.

We saw for years how good defensive teams could pressure Durant into turnovers or into only taking 18-20 shots a game in a series because Thunder didn't have any shooters to give him space and they made Westbrook beat them.
