You might want to sit down for this..

Unfortunately, we do not know for certain how Hollinger generated these elements of PER. However, Hollinger himself revealed that their development was tweaked so as to ensure that Michael Jordan would hold the league-leading PER at PER’s inception.

PER isn't dependant on games played. A player with 1 game can have higher PER than mike

PER is a rate stat - rate of production

MJ's rate of production was higher

3ball

Btw, the reason lebron's career PER is lower than MJ's is because he had numerous really low PER's of 25 or lower (06-08, 11, 15)

Whereas MJ never had a PER below 26.7 except his rookie year and baseball year

MJ's 87-93 beat any such stretch for lebron, RS or PO

Since the goat is the best, the only way to knock him is to criticize things he did that everyone else did WORSE - that's what people must do with MJ

For example - 89' MJ falters with a 2-1 lead against Detroit, but Kobe loses a 3-1 lead and lebron had the goat choke in 11'.... Or MJ goes 1-9 with 8 seeds, while others do the same more often and with higher seeds.... Or MJ loses with an all-star twice, but lebron does too and also 3 times with TWO all-stars

Btw, that last one - MJ losing twice with an all-star - that's the least anyone ever lost with an all-star - so MJ is goat because he was the most unbeatable with the minimal help that ALL players need to win

MJ was also #1 in plus-minus until Curry broke his record in 16'

Congrats your team did better than us by one round making it to the second round must be some real accomplishment as a Craptors fan :oldlol:

If you weren't such a retard, you would have been able to comprehend that I was making fun of YOU... Not the shitbox team you've arbitrarily decided to route for.

But as everyone around here knows... Basic intelligence is not a strong point of yours.

I mean my avatar is of Skeet'akim

I root for a team.

You should try it some time.

Instead of obsessively defending the honour of one player who would probably quicker shit in your mouth than offer you a moment of his time.
