This. LeBron back in the top 3. Poor OP. :oldlol: I don't think you could put Giannis over him, regardless. He's proven absolutely nothing in the playoffs while LeBron had one of the greatest playoff runs ever just a year ago.

Giannis is more of PF these days it seems like so take him out. From there, the top 3 SF's are Bron, KD, and Kawhi. With Paul George in that 4th slot. The 80's was the Golden Era of SF's. But in terms of guys who are so multifaceted, the league has NEVER seen a top 4 SF lineup like these guys! The 80's had more depth. But u could LEGIT play Bron, KD, Kawhi, and PG together in a lineup. Plug Bron at PG, Kawhi at SG, PG at SF, and KD at PF!

You guys do understand what Giannis has done this year?

He led the Bucks to 60 wins and his Per 36 averages were 30/14/7. He averaged 28/13/6 in just 32.5 mpg.

He's averaging only 26/11/3 in the POs so far, but he's been only playing 29.8 mpg because all of Bucks games have been blowouts.

Kawhi is playing elite defense while averaging 32/7/3 on 69.4%TS. He's leading the Playoffs with a 32.4 PER, .330 WS/48 & a ridiculous 11.8 Offensive +/-. 2nd straight Playoffs with 31.5+ PER & .314+ WS/48. He shot a 67.2%TS with the Spurs when he was injured in that WCF.

Durant is averaging 34 ppg on 67.2%TS in these Playoffs and just had one of the greatest 5-game stretches of Playoffs history.

Lebron's stats are going to look weak in a couple of years, when the league evolves and elite scorers begin shooting 65%TS with regularity. Westbrook already made reb/ast numbers meaningless, now guys are averaging 30+ ppg with 60+%TS with ease in the Playoffs. It's over.

Giannis doesn't truly have a position, a legitimate 5 position player

But yeah he's been the Bucks PF this whole time, I consider him a SF for ranking purposes since that's where he started his career. LeBron is a PF but we still call him a SF even in his Heat days

I've noticed the Bucks started Mirotic and Giannis together the previous game. In that type of setup, I would consider Giannis the SF actually. Much more able to defend SF's. Mirotic's best position is as a stretch PF type plus he's listed at 6'10 250 pounds. But as u stated, Giannis is a LEGIT 5 position player! Can play AND defend all five positions at 7'0! Basketball Reference has his primary position listed at PG, SG, SF, and PF various seasons!

So if Giannis is considered a SF, then he's arguably the best SF in the world. Bron, KD, Giannis, Leonard, and PG are hands down the top five SF's in the world. On a peak-prime level, the first 4 along with Bird are the top 5 SF's EVER!! I really think Kawhi and Giannis have evolved to where I would take them over Doc, Baylor, Barry, etc. at the 3!

Durant will do it barring injury.

2 things going against it:

- KD already missed a whole playoff season due to injuries (2013? 2014? Can't remember)

- With 8 straight finals, Lebron probably keep the edge in term of number of games played. KD already played 3 finals, but he needs a lot of games to catch up

Durant will have 4k, possibly ~4300 points after this post-season and he's only 30. He would need another 5-6 deep post-season runs with his ppg in the high 20s to reach the 7k mark.

He's a 7-footer with unlimited range and will probably be the #1 option for at least the following 5 seasons. He's like a modern day Kareem, his shot is unguardable. It's all up to his health and the teams he chooses to play on.

In Lebron's case, he might not play a single Playoff game for the rest of his career if he stays on the Lakers & retires after his current contract.
