That's 5 underwhelming teams in 9 years that won the conference - they were all destroyed in the Finals and had no business being there if not for the weak conference

I can't think of another conference ever where this was the case (weak teams consistently winning the conference and then getting blown away in the Finals)

But even though a good cast wasn't necessary to make the Finals, Lebron stacked the deck to ensure Finals runs, thus inflating his resume - this was after failing to make the Finals in 09/10 despite the minimal cast requirements.. :facepalm
