Yikes...

He did play 65 min but that's still pretty bad for a superstar MVP candidate

He went 18 mins between buckets from 6:42 in the 4th to 2:31 in OT3.

Scored 3 points in the last 25+ mins of game time.

The way the Nuggets run their offense through Jokic reminds me alot of how Portland ran their offense through Walton in '77 & '78.

His conditioning is so bad, he did play a ton of minutes but he looked visibly more tired than everyone else

Imagine if his conditioning was great

yeah no

they run alot more through Nikola. Walton was more of a cog and not nearly the level of passer Jokic is. Jokic is the best passer in the league and u can run alot more stuff through him. Walton wasnt passing off the pickandroll/pop or making the post or transition passes Nikola does

seems they needed him to protect the backboard. The coaching decision here is still when and who they switch on screen on defense.

Hes too out of shape to be consistent throughout the whole game like Embiid.

He had a bunch of assists in OT iirc (It was really late, I was half asleep).

He was setting up alot of guys. He's basically the Nuggets PG. He's averaging 29/14/9 with 1.3 blocks and 1.7 steals per game on 51/39/70. What else do you call that other than a superstar? 25/13/9 for the playoffs. Those numbers literally look like a worse scoring younger LeBron :oldlol:

People talking about his conditioning when he's averaging 40 MPG in the playoffs as a C. He played 65 minutes last night. 65 minutes. How many C's in the league do you think can do that?

Atleast he was making plays. Yeah you wanna see him score more, but I'm not going to knock any 7 footer when they start getting tired after 55 minutes of basketball.

He missed that free throw because he knew if he didn't hurry up and get oxygen treatment that his customary post-game meal of 80 chicken nuggets would get cold

Awesome player, but the jokes are too easy and fun. Thankfully the PC police have yet to target fat jokes.

As a top tiered professional athlete how the funk does he not even lift any weights whatsoever?! :lol He reminds me of Tyson Fury in his last fight.

Remarkably talented but a lazy person with his diet/gym routine

He was so damn tired. As said already, he had some great passes that lead to points. I had more problems with his turnovers in the OTs. He had a bunch of bad lackadaisical crosscourt passes that were picked off. I know the human body isn't built to play 60 mins of anything that stressful, but you have to think he will improve on that over the offseason.

I hope he isn't done for the rest of this series because of this game. I thought Nadal was done after he played that marathon against Thiem at USO last year and he was not himself in the semis.

This has to be one of the more inaccurate posts I've seen on here. Portland ran everything through Walton and he was an all-time great passer. Go watch some '77 Blazers games.

A couple years ago in an article he actually admitted that he hated to sweat and get dirty.

Jokic impacts the games in a lot more ways than just scoring. His ability to find team mates paid dividends....despite the handful of careless passes he had, which led to some turnovers.

No they didnt they mostly ran stuff in the post with him. Watch some of their playoff games in length and not just highlights

on the perimeter they ran alot of pickandroll/pop with Hollins and Lucas and Gross made alot of passes too. Alot of Ramsays system was predicated on ball and player movement through screening. Its more free flowing and similar to the Warriors nothing like Denver who runs almost every play through Jokic. Jokic averages the most touches in the playoffs by 40+ and is the only big near the top guys

Walton isnt even on the level of passing of guys like Sabonis, Divac or KG let alone Jokic whos the GOAT big passer by miles

Let's not forget that Jokic had 24 points in the 2nd half before OT.

Tyson? Wow so unreal. It makes no sense that he is so good at boxing despite his lack of focus at times (got addicted to cocaine and gained hella weight from alcohol/partying).
