damn.......just said it on Lowe post.

They didnt want to double him or blitz in any pickandroll b/c he was a more dangerous passer and knew he couldnt impact the game with his scoring as much as the pass to beat them.

Bran stans always prop up the boxscore numbers from this series too:oldlol: :oldlol: SVG basically said "let the babyboi score":lol they knew Brans terrible defense and lack of a varied scoring game wouldnt be enough.

Damn....also said they messed up the defense on that last backdoor cut play for Brans gamewinner and they shouldve swept :oldlol: as MASSIVE underdogs without homecourt:eek:

And?

Lebron could be his favorite player, but the fact remains that this is how most teams (Spurs, Warriors) play him.

His stats become less impressive once you realize that he's being left wide open for most of the game.

it's called picking your poison right? lebron in his athletic prime was the GOAT at driving and stiff-arming to the rim plus he was an amazing passer with excellent court-vision.

after game 7 of the 2013 finals pop said he had a good strategy but that's the greatness of a superstar you can't take everything away.

Spurs
Mavs
Warriors

LeBron is an in the flow scorer... Very risk adverse. He's not takeover. Coaches know this...

All you really need is a great offensive showing to outlast him. That s why the east was so kind to his teams...Paul George and millsap he can outpace with layups all the west talent not so much

An indictment on his game compared to other greats.. one of the many clear-cut areas of inferiority

He loses shootouts where both teams get above their regular season offense because lebron-ball and lebron's offense is easily out-produced by the better teams.. lebron-ball does best in defensive slugfests where the offense is anemic

Lebron is a dumb player for thinking his ball-domination is an adequate substitute for ball movement, 3/9

True genius is having the all-round skill to adjust to teammates and play a style that allows great teamwork and winning on the championship level

what you don't understand and will never understand 3ball is that lebron has given his fans a ton of epic moments. choked in 2011 came back on a mission in 2012. had an epic game 7 of the finals the next year. spearheaded the only 3-1 comeback in the playoffs doing that in the finals winning cleveland their first chip, leading two different teams to the promised land.

Nah, you don't get it

Lebron should've done much more than he did - you seem satisfied with a 2nd rate resume compared to the best and compared to what he SHOULD'VE done

For example - how does the greatest player of all time team up with the next best player in the league and lose in 11'? And then be an underdog in 12'? The Heat lost or were underdog for 3 of 4 years..

^^^ That's impossible if lebron is goat... So lebron simply isn't

Face it - our jaws all dropped to the floor when we heard lebron and Wade had teamed up.. Lebron was supposed to win "not 6, not 7" rings.. instead he went 2/4 with goat choke and record defeat. That's pure shit compared to what MJ would've done with 3 HOF like Wade/Bosh/Allen

And ditto for his recent Cavs teams... How was he a massive dog every year with prime Kyrie and Love?? Why didn't he flirt with 70 wins and favorite status like Kawhi and Curry did?

Again, you seem content with a 2nd rate resume when instead you should be mad that lebron is mostly a loser despite elite tesmmates

False. I've already annihilated all of these arguments at one point or another. It doesn't even take much either.

Wade and james were redundant and that team didn't have a center. It doesn't matter how good your perimeter play is when you get crushed on the boards every single game. Wade and james are so great that they still won two together.

Lebron and kyrie beat the 2016 warriors and they would've beat the 2015 warriors as well if kyrie was able to stick it out past game 1 which they dropped. Still went 6 games with a 7 man rotation and every starter absolutely gassed by the end of every game while the warriors were subbing in fresh player after fresh player.

Lebron's skill restriction to primary ball-handler isn't an excuse dude.. it's a weakness

Whose fault is it that Lebron's skill is limited to primary ball-handler and he can't play off-ball or catch-and-shoot to mesh with other player types and have a better team?

I'll always lord that over you because it shows how much of an idiotic fanboy and irrational dumbass of a human being you are.

You think michael jordan and delonte west and varejao and z and mike brown are equal to the championship bulls? Good ****ing lord.

After watching what dwight did to old z and how 6'9 rashard and 6'10 hedo shot over the 6'3 delonte you STILL think that team is equal to the championship bulls?

I would love to see what kobe gasol and odom would do jordan playing with mo williams as his second option and varejao delonte and old z as the rest of the starters- it would be an absolute rape. Kobe would stick daggers in jordan's mouth while gasol cleaned the floor with old-z.

"Buh buh buh that team was built around james." Those players ain't shit - James carried them to 66-wins because he was young and could go 110% every night at the age of 24. And they ultimately fizzled out in the playoffs because again - mo williams and em just aren't that good.

What happened when wade bit the bullet realized he was declining and gave the full reigns to lebron?

They won two in a row against good competition. Despite the fact that bosh was playing out of position getting abused by every center every night.

That narrative is also bullshit. You're a joke 3ball. Just tap out.
D Wade 2014 ECF - 20 on 54.8%.. 32 years old.. all-star in 15' and 16'
Pippen. 1998 ECF - 16 on 40.9%.. 33 years old.. done being an all-star

So pippen was older and more banged up than Wade heading into the Finals

but the Heat got blown away in the Finals - teammates always play bad in this scenario including lebron, who played worse than Wade when the games were within 10 points

and the Heat couldn't activate Bosh to take over that series, because he'd been reduced to spot-up shooter (due to Lebron's skill deficit/ball-domination)

So lebron has no excuse... he couldn't make it work like MJ did... MJ won 3 rings with pippen averaging 17 on 40.8% in the 96-98 playoffs, and Rodman MIA in 97' and 98' (4/8 in 97' playoffs and not the starter in 98').

MJ simply won with goat teamwork... Otoh, lebron's skill restriction to ball-domination made him so reliant on 1 player type (shooters), that he ceded the best offenses, brand of ball, and teams to others in the era

All the best teams never doubled LeBron...

Celtics
Spurs
Mavs
Warriors
Now the magic...

LeBron is an in the flow scorer... Very risk adverse. He's not takeover. Coaches know this...

All you really need is a great offensive showing to outlast him. That s why the east was so kind to his teams...Paul George and millsap he can outpace with layups all the west talent not so much
:facepalm

dumb

Hey Yo

That's my point - u think a 2nd rate resume of underachievement is goat

Again, you seem content with a 2nd rate resume when instead you should be mad that lebron is mostly a loser despite elite teammates.
A guy who quit the league for 2yrs to rest up mentally and physically, who also tried to win a ring the easiest way possible by coming back with 17gms left in the season...... makes it impossible for him to be the GOAT.

LeBron's 3 rings >>>> MJ's 3 rings

Ultimately, his comments about exploiting lebron are observable fact and very recent.. his comments about lebron goat were before the record loss in 18' and the missed playoffs in 19'

Imagine having a losing record to your three greatest competitors Bird, Thomas, and Olajuwon and going 1-9 in the playoffs until your savior Scottie Pippen changes your legacy, while eventually winning in the weakest watered-down expansion era in the history of NBA where you never had a memorable Finals game and you never beat anyone, only to have the true goat Crush all of your playoff records against TRUE competition.

These are dark times for Jordan fans

I told you guys he said it

They played lebron straight up and stayed at home to lock down his teammates - that's how the underdog Magic beat the Cavs

Ultimately, defenses meet a driver at the rim with multiple defenders, whereas the only way to stop a hot jumpshooter is to get the ball out of their hands (double-team) - indeed, only great jumpshooters like MJ, Curry, Bird, and Kobe get doubled...

Otoh, ball-dominant bricklayers like Westbrook and Lebron are left to their own devices - they won't get hot from the outside and their scoring is the plodding type that takes a lot of dribbles and you see it coming (ball-dominance), so opponents prefer defending this versus defending ball movement and complicated off-ball stuff (pindowns, etc)..

So Lebron's inability to get doubled is a huge flaw in his game that explains how his heavily-favored Cavs lost... And I know that most people think it's crazy to blame Lebron - this is true in a way because Lebron's production allows them to have a good team with only Mo as 2nd option and sub-par cast... But it's still Lebron's fault compared to other greats like MJ, Curry or Kobe that can produce the same amount while getting doubled, so teammates get off and the team has a more powerful attack overall... :confusedshrug:
