Now imagine being told this guy was a STARTER.

NOW imagine being told this person is a 5x NBA champion :biggums: :biggums:

Is there a worse starting PG in history that's an NBA champion... let alone FIVE times?

Anybody at all?!?

kobe was the point guard in the triangle. he just didn't pad assists like some other people

fisher was a traditional shooting guard ( aka kick out 3 and D specialist )

the only 2 guys in nba history that won more titles as their teams top playmaker are scottie and cousy

think about it for a second and let it sink in... kobe was just as successful as magic johnson at playing point guard for his team

Wait... a dude who had literally one job (to shoot wide open shots).. could only do it at a 39% clip? :wtf:

On some real shit though...

Imagine LeGOAT's 3rd option for his entire career averaging 8ppg on 39%.... how long would it take for LeGOAT to DEMAND for Fisher to be traded?

We know from reality that LeGOAT has thrown tantrums with 20/10 3rd options on multiple teams. What would our LeGAWD do if he had to carry an 8ppg on 39% 3rd option??

Exactly, who are these guys without Kobe Bryant?

Oh yeah.. without the Mamba they're random replaceable role players.

Derek Fisher is a beloved Laker and he had great moments, but people forget how many times he was a non-factor in a series or an entire Playoff run.

2001 and 2010 Fisher was pretty damn good though.

Odom =6th man
Artest = defense POY
Ariza = good 3 and d guy

Kobe helped catapult them to big time major success but they were not scrubs

Odom was 6th man of the year one time and that was the very last year Kobe was able to lead him. Once he left Kobe's lead... we all know the unfortunate turn of events in his life. Who knows what would've happened if he had stayed in the safety of Kobe's leadership.

Artest was definitely one of the best defensive players in the league...especially the very year before joining the Lakers when both prime Artest + prime Battier took it in their **** from Kobe Bryant. Not one but two DPOY players, in the same series on the same team got absolutely destroyed by Kobe which forced Artest to corner a vulnerable and naked Kobe and BEGGED Kobe to carry him to a free chip.

Ariza shot a PUTRID 32% from the 3pt (especially putrid considering that was literally his only job) and was a baby compared to what he is now.

If he were part of 2 important events in NBA history, I think he'd be considered for the 500 slot. Speaking of which, how did Craig Hodges not make the SLAM list?
