Kyrie has been awful shooting the ball against MIL, averaging 21.8 points on 37.3% shooting (20.8 shots/game)
54% at the rim
31% on floaters
36% from midrange
24% from 3

i thought kobe was a good shooter... hence all those points he has while doing mostly that. and winning. and having a point per shot identical to jordans

i think people see other guys who drive most of the time or shoot only wide open and assume that should be kobes overall fg% too

but history has shown volume outside shooters rarely shoot 50%

guys like rick barry and ray allen can attest to that. its sort of a normal thing for a shooting guard to shoot a lot... but one guy named michael jordan came a long and spammed dunks for half his career and didn't really like the 3 point shot. so his fg% is what others are judged on even though he was massively flawed and set all time futility records in 3 point shooting contests. had a flat girly push shot and is only the goat because of the era he played in. he would be a 2014 kawhi in todays nba. good enough to win titles on great teams. but not good enough to be considered the best overall player.

okay, you went from a decent poster to just "go back where you came from and dont come back"

all i said was michael jordans fg% isn't what other volume outside shooters should be judged on due to his limited shot selection... jordans the goat. he was the most dominant 2 way player on the highest level and has the most success. but he had a flat girly shot from far out. deal with it

jordan was more dominant in his era though because of major physical/athletic advantages with enough skills in certain areas to succeed

but his 3 pointer was ugly as f*ck... anyone can admit that. dude looks like charles oakley with that f*cked up form

Brad's system is about ball movement and you see Kyrie pulling up for 3 in transition. :facepalm

I don't think that is the real problem. I think it is the Uncle Drew routine, dribbling around for 10-15 seconds and forcing up a shot while everyone else watches, that really sabotoges the offense.

Yea, just ignoring any sort of ball movement and doing what he wants.

Yeah watching him do that over and over again was really annoying. Especially when it's so glaring that the team thrives off of team offense and ball movement. Honestly Brad needs to have the balls to bench Kyrie when he's doing that. Coaches need to learn to grow a sack and made a statement. No star should be above the team no matter who he is.

MJ lacked the deep stroke game.
He has two sons. And a daughter who has so much testosterone she goes both ways. Mike was hitting them long shots from behind to plant those Y chromosomes. :oldlol:

When Lebron came back to the Cavs I went to the game the first time they came to DC. Kyrie spent so much time dribbling around looking for his own shot that it was painful to watch. Other guys, including Lebron, were reduced to standing around watching him.

He doesn't get the importance of ball movement, which goes up in the playoffs.

People talk about LeBron being ball dominant but I swear Kyrie very often had the ball more than LeBron when I watched the Cavs. Kyrie is less ball dominant on the Celtics to be sure but he still ISOs a ton.

No, we actually saw him play, the biggest critique on his game isn’t nearly as flawed as some of these kids pretended it to be ... that’s the point. No one said he was Ray Allen or Reggie or Mullin or Steph.

My biggest critique of Jordan? The 3. Or lack of attempts (mostly a product of his era). Even then he was better than average. Throughout the 90s when Chicago competed EVERY season.

So he wasn't perfect at shooting threes.
Nor was he a "perfect" rebounder.

People conflate being the GOAT with "perfection". They're two separate things entirely.

Pretty much why Jordans stans are the worst on this board. They worship him like he's some kind of deity. It's impossible to have any kind of reasonable discussion with those nutters if it involves Michael Jordan.
