We really need to hold off these Jordan talks and get serious here.
Both players benefited from playing in a weaker Conference, except Magic won over half of his Finals (5/9 vs 3/9). 5 rings & 3 MVPs are also better than 3 rings 4 MVPs. Both have the same number of FMVPs (3).
Championship runs
Magic
'80 - 18/11/9/3 59.6%TS
'82 - 17/11/9/3 61.4%TS
'85 - 18/7/15/2 59.9%TS
'87 - 22/8/12/2 60.7%TS
'88 - 20/5/13/1 60.0%TS
Lebron
'12 - 30/10/6/2 57.6%TS
'13 - 26/8/7/2 58.5%TS
'16 - 26/10/8/2 58.5%TS
Where's the argument for Lebron here? He wins less and his stats are worse. Magic's highest apg in a title run is twice as high as someone's who's supposed to be just as good at it? Please. And Magic could score in the high teens/low 20s on higher efficiency. Magic also carried the Lakers to a road win in a close-out Finals game with Kareem injured, putting up 42/15/7/3 on over 60% shooting. Magic is responsible for saving the NBA when it was at it's lowest and ran the greatest offenses in NBA history. 9 Finals and 5 titles in a span of 12 seasons.

I've been saying this for ages, magic is a way wayyyy better passer than lbj and both their games are very very similar in what they try to accomplish
magic is wayyy better at pushing the ball as well
shooting they're even maybe lbj is slightly ahead
lbj don't even play near what MJ does, the only reason his stans try to compare to mj is because lbj so wants to be the GOAT

As a big Magic fan...lol, jk I've always hated that phaggit. Bird, Lebron easily >
The way he quit this season was perfectly in line with who he is.

LeBron is a 100x better scorer and defender and slightly worse passer
All Magic has over LeBron is passing lol and barely
How on earth does Magic have better numbers you moron LeBron has almost a 10ppg up on Magic with equal efficiency
Try better

If we are really getting serious you should be comparing Jordan to Magic, LeBron is the one with all the records and the clear number one all time.
There is no more debate.
LeBron has made more game-winners on better efficiency. He faced much tougher competition, he scored more points on less shots, and put up better stats on every level.
Defensively, LBJ ranks above Jordan and considerably above Magic. Honestly, compare Jordan and Magic they are closer than LeBron and Jordan.

Magic is what we in the industry call, eerily homosexual. A phaggit who is continuously gyrating around any person, place or thing which can be described with a male pronoun. Part incubus. Part succubus. Literally raping men with his ass hole because of his supernatural ability to take it in the ass, flaccid. Despite his gargantuan homosexual aura, he is a coward who never came out of the closet publicly even after Jason Collins opened the door for him. His cowardice is the only reason why I don't stay up at nights worrying about him running me down ass first.

These guys need to be careful, LeBron is already ahead of Jordan, if anything Jordan should be compared to Magic he's not on LeBron's level and that's just facts.
LBJ = Top PER, WS, WS/48, VORP, DRtg runs

1. LeBron - .388 (14 games, 2009)
2. Jordan - .333 (17 games, 1991)
3. Jordan - .306 (18 games, 1996)
4. Kareem - .297 (16 games, 1974)
5. LeBron - .284 (23 games, 2012)
6. Jordan - .284 (17 games, 1990)

8. Duncan - .279 (24 games, 2003)
9. J. West - .278 (15 games 1968)
10. LeBron - .275 (18 games, 2017)
*Bests that did not make the top 10 list:
*Bold notes still active
J. West -.274 (18 games, 1969)
LeBron - .274 (21 games, 2016)
Curry - .272 (17 games, 2017)
Kareem - .271 (14 games, 1971)
Jordan - .270 (17 games, 1989)
Magic - .267 (14 games, 1986) ** Not even top 10 one time :lol
------
No one else is even close, MJ is the #2 but still a distant #2
This feels like its 2016 when LeBron lead all players in all major statistical categories. Only this time he's doing it against Jordan
LeBron shoots a better percentage from 2
LeBron shoots a better percentage from 3
He has a higher FG%, eFG%, and TS%
He has a better AST%, TRB%, BPG%, and a lower USG%
MJ scores more points, but also has a higher USG% and a higher FT%
With advanced metrics, both in the regular season and playoffs, it gets even worse for Jordan
https://i.postimg.cc/52mBwW6h/LBJ-vs-MJ-complete.png
LeBron leads MJ in: Win Shares, TS%, TRB%, AST%, BLK%, OWS, DWS, OBPM, DBPM, BPM, VORP
MJ leads in: FT%, and STL%
LeBron also has slightly more turnovers, but a better assist-to-turnover ratio, so boom roasted there too:
https://i.postimg.cc/dtxCbRZN/a2toratio.png
It's just not. even. close. And some have been fooled for a long time, but not I.
https://i.postimg.cc/0jKSQL7M/LeBron_1st.png
Can we please stop thinking Jordan is better now? LeBron crushes him in almost every category and if you look at total playoff stats it's a LANDSLIDE victory, with nearly 1000 more points and double the rebounds.

not just did OP fail at the relevant data comparison, he also showed LeBron was better in what he cherry-picked.
Thx.
2009, 2017 and 2018 LeBron are by far better than Magic ever was, btw.

I've been watching the playoffs, last nights houston 3 point shoot out contest got old after an hour
but hey, if you children get your cawks hard watching this sad shit all the more for you
btw, if houston knocks gsw out what does that say about l39ron james? I thought this was the greatest team of allllll time?
3ball the other day said an average 90s team would beat them. I don't know if i'd go that far but this team is not even close to some unstoppable juggernaught
well........
unless l3 9ron is on the opposing team

Who did Magic make better? Which pro's were mediocre to average on a team(s) before Magic, but then got to the Lakers and they instantly improved to the point it was quite noticeable?? Or just the opposite, who was great with Magic, but then went straight into the shitter after leaving the Lakers??

Magic might be the better "leader", but I'd still go Lebron.
More skilled. Better scorer and defender obviously.
The only players I would take over prime Lebron are Jordan/Bird/Shaq/Kareem in their primes.
Like most on here, I never saw Wilt or Russell. So just speaking on what I watched.

Hakeem had a great 93-95ish run BUT those guys had longer, memorable primes imo.
Wouldn't argue with anyone throwing him in there tho. Hakeem's 3 years were pure dominance.
