People told me Embiid is better and Jokic would flop in the playoffs :biggums:

One guy has help show up in the playoffs. The other doesn't.

should've seen the signs, Embiid jokes around like a Dwight 2.0... and will follow down the same dark path

Because Jokic was always better. America just love living in denial

Not that I care about either of these trash ass millenial centers BUT

Jokic is going up against the Knicks backup center Enes Kanter and two American born white centers

While

Embiid is going up against former DPOY Marc Gasol

Because Jokic is a much smarter player and more skilled. Embiid could never pass the rock like that. Embiid is the better defender but I don't think he's better at anything else.

Jokic is basically mid 90s era Zydrunas Illgauskas before the leg injuries reduced him to a role player.

Jokic is a lot more like Sabonis.

This doesn't have anything to do with Marc Gasol really. The problem is that Embiid is not healthy while Jokic has barely missed any games for his career.

Jokic is better than Embiid when it comes to passing & rebounding, but Joel is a better scorer & a much better rim protector.

Health is a big factor and Jokic has it over Embiid, which makes him a more consistent performer and a bigger commodity for his team.

Joel is more talented and I think at his peak he's a better overall player. He's one of the few elite two way big men.

Jokic is more available

Jokic is just a higher IQ and higher skilled player and makes the correct plays more often than not compared to Embiid. Embiid still looks very undecisive out there, unsure what to do with the ball most of the time, spends too much time thinking about what he should do with the ball instead of having ultra-instinct sense of what to do with it.

Joel has the higher ceiling but Jokic is just straight up a better and more reliable (both in terms of decision making and availability) player at the moment. I truly hope Joel figures out whatever he's missing on the mental side of the game.

Mark Gasol actually doing well defensively on Embiid, Embiid only game he did well was game 3.

Meanwhile Blazers frontline can't stop Jokic, Kanters defense is not good vs him.

When healthy, Embiid is better than Jokic. But at some point that qualifier starts becoming meaningless.

Embiid is playing on a bummed knee and has been sick two different times. It's obvious he's not even 80% out there.

Y'all obviously never seen Illgauskas play when he was a rookie during the Jordan second repeat. Illgauskas was a beast before he suffered that leg injury. Him and Shawn kemp were nice up front.

People forgot how nice Shawn Kemps Cavs were in the mid to late 90s. Shawn Kemp, Illgauskas, Bob Sura, Derek Anderson, and Brevin Knight were all solid players. They even beat the Bulls during the regular season that year.

Jokic is just better.

Only many american fatboys have a cuckold fetish and like to list of height, weight and girth nonstop.

Think someone like Bill Simmons jerking off to the thought of Zion doing his wife.

Please stop, this is just embarrassing. Z was a 14/9 guy who averaged less than 1 apg and you're comparing him to a top 5-7 MVP candidate who is putting up 25/13/9 in a possible WCF run. It's not even remotely close.

Numbers don't tell the whole story. Big Z, when he had hair, was a beast in the play-offs.

No doubt, we can only be so patient with TheProcess

He reminds me of Kyrie or Curry where he has flashes of brilliance but he's just too fragile

I remember NBA on NBC considered that Zydrunas Illgauskas was a potential future NBA allstar beffore he had that foot injury. Big Z had some crazy footwork in his first two years in the league before he had that foot injury.

20 points on 44% for a center sure isn't winning.

Jokic has Embiid beat on every statistical category except blocks.

I know Jokic missed a FT ... but he was literally the only reason tonight was close. He carried Denver like crazy. He doesn't have a Jimmy Butler next to him.

Absolutely amazing playoff run by Jokic.

I am lithuanian. I have seen a lot of Big Z and Sabonis playing, at different points of their career.

Jokic is better than Big Z(any version). I know Big Z was really skilled and smart big with good defense as much as the mobility allowed after injuries(he was really quick for his size before his foot injury). Big Z was good, but cmon.

Now Sabonis is very different thing, broken down NBA Sabonis is actually bigger better version of current Jokic, difference is Sabonis in the NBA was immobile cause of injuries, while Jokic is because he's out of shape. Jokic was just born in the right era for his type of game.
