How come the Warriors don't get worse without the ''best in the world'' ?

red1
05-09-2019, 01:12 AM
that's a very easy question to answer - because they're still stacked

Uncle Drew

The Warriors revolve around Curry. Take him out, they fall apart. Take Durant out, they're still the same stacked Dubs.

They are missing 2 all-nba team usa members (cuz/kd) and they beat the second best team in the league.

The better question is how do teams get worse if they are playing with the best player in the world?

Houston is NOT the second best team in the league.

Houston played stupid and warriors got some lucky bounces. Houston will probably still win this series and no way warriors win the chip without kd

CURRY s movement and shot making ability is the reason...

But without KD they just dont have enough players .. GSW is like 6 or 7 deep at best..

No way they win this series imo.. But there is the ANOMALY , CURRY:bowdown:

48 win pace pre injury is not "better" than 35 wins?

Do people realize the depth (or lack thereof) the Warriors have right now?

Who's gonna be taking up the 40+ minutes KD has been playing this series? Jerebko? McKinnie? They gonna start Bogut? :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol:

It's gonna be a bloodbath.

It's one game. Warriors are in huge problem because they have zero depth right now (trying to fit in the superteam). It's going to be a rough game 6.

I thought the refs did an okay job today, the Warriors won the battle of the long rebounds, those fouls on screens are going to happen, and they didn't factor into the tempo of the game.

And they had several good possessions by the other guys on the team. To blame Harden on this is asinine.

Harden had been carrying them offensively all season and now they go away from him in a game where he's actually efficient? That's absolutely on Harden..He had 31 points and took 1 shot in the last 8:50... inexcusable.

Same stacked dubs would refer to a lot of talent.

Yet replacing curry for Durant yields worse results...with Durant generally being considered better than chef. (especially now)

What does that mean? Are you guys now understanding the impact of teamwork?

Jerebko is actually clutch and a gamer.

Remember when mccaw, speights, ezeli, and barbosa were touted on the dubs yet bums everywhere else thereafter?

That s the teammate amplifying effect of the original dubs system mate.

KD takes out all the ball movement / synergy.

Confused rockets fans like uk2k predicted GSW to be irrelevant without the Snake :lol

Imagine playing in a system predicated on ball movement and team work so that players like Klay can get opportunities to shine.

Oh wait, you can't because you're a Bransvestite.

Danny Green one second away from never touching an NBA court because of Bran ball.

Gets one more opportunity and is now regarded as one of the best role players in the game.

Happens all the time with Bran ball.

Kerr did use 2 time outs at the end in order to inbound the ball

the interesting factor here is the Rockets go with Austin Rivers in the small line up, who, I might even consider to be put on Green in order to maintain athleticism over all other players. Offensive rebound may be an issue, but I would put Shumpert in when they try to go big, and go big anytime they have 2 bench players on the floor.

oh the horror

Their depth is going to be an issue. That much I can see. This opens the playoffs wide open.

Today is a terrible day for the best in the world screamers. Like everyone with half decent basketball knowledge already knew: Durant has 0 impact on this Warriors team. It’s Curry’s squad, always has, always will.
