Imagine scoring more playoff points than a guy with 10 scoring titles :lol
We see who the true playoff scoring King is. MJ can have the regular season titles :lol
There is no greater playoff performer than King James

Stockton is #1 all-time in steals and assists by a wide margin
but is not regarded as the best PG all-time.
Why?

Lebron is a good scorer but not even close to be GOAT. He is just a top 10-15 player. Most of people says that, nobody calls him a bad scorer.

What about stats accumulated in the most stat inflating era in history aka now?

Because Jordan wiped his legacy away in just two Finals.
Imagine if MJ wasn't there to beat the Jazz in '97 and '98.. Malone & Stockton would both be top 10 all-time.

offense and defensive systems are far more advanced and intricate in modern basketball than the car mechanic/ceo banker filled 90's

because you don't need to sack off on offensive rebounds to get back on defense

Stockton is ahead of Bran in Playoff assists and Magic's Playoffs assists won't be broken for at least another decade.

Titles scoring over 26.3 ppg
Lebron - 1
Kobe - 4
Lebron has never averaged 30+ points or 60+%TS for a Finals series that he actually won.

Right, I know all this stuff rookie. I'm glad you're finally learning about playoff statistics. Let me fill you in since you didn't answer the question
Playoffs
#1 assists = Magic
#1 steals = LeBron
#1 points = LeBron
Got it?

You don't. You thought that Lebron was #1 in assists    He won't even be close once he retires.

Lebron's stats benefitted from deep runs in a weak conference that didn't require good teams to make the Finals from 01-09', when 5 weak teams made it (AI, Lebron, Dwight, Kidd 2) - and then Lebron stacked the deck to ensure Finals runs from 11-18', further inflating his stats
But his inflated totals resulted in far less rings, so his skills and stats are "empty"/less effective and miss their mark (winning) - similar to a suboptimal boxer that throws a ton of punches but fails to connect sufficiently, lebron's ball-dominant, stat accumulation prevents his teams from playing a brand that can win frequently

LeBron is a great scorer but he's too passive when the game is on the line especially in the finals.

Lebron won bronze medal twice despite having Larry Brown as his coach. He played in the East getting to the finals and as soon as he got to the west with the winniest franchise in NBA History he didn't make the playoffs.:oldlol:
