He had 27/11/6 on 11-19 shooting tonight and they still lost.

How’d he do the rest of the series?

He was controlling the whole game last year.

CP3 last year: 18.6/5.4/7.9 on .460/.380/.919, 60.4 TS%, 7.1 BPM

CP3 this year: 15.6/4.6/8.2 on .419/.358/.862, 56.0 TS%, 3.0 BPM

His playoff stats have a similar discrepancy too.

Clearly not the same player.

No excuses, Houston was playing at home, CP3 balled out, Warriors were without Durant and Houston still choked. Rockets would of found a way to choke last year even with a healthy CP3.

And you saw how clutch Iggy was tonight, he didn't even play games 4-7 vs Houston last year.
Maybe.

The end of last year’s playoffs will always be a sore spot for me. At various was sure two of my all time favorites (LeBron, CP3) were really adding to their legacies and it got ripped away from both. ****ing injuries and ****ing refs.

CP0 would have choked as always.
Refs??? Apart from game 1, Warriors murdered Cavs, at best a gentleman sweep.
CP3 doesn’t choke.

This is quite possibly the dumbest NBA narrative I’ve ever encountered.

Hurr durr his team lost he must have choked.

well, you want to debate whether this is a game of momentum or not. And again, the ball movement hadn't created exciting basketball, due to outside of stats and team records, this Warrior squad hasn't had a player you can pin point where they outplayed an opposing player both ends of the floor

You support the brand of basketball where it's about teamwork, because you have a girl you want but you can't get. Bill Russell, for the record, averaged 14 FGA over his 13 years in the playoff.

Rockets don't even trust their bench. meanwhile, the Warriors were throwing 4. 5. 6 guys off the bench at the Rockets.

or they were just c*cky and went into the game unprepared

Possibly.

But thats irrelevant. They shouldnt have been let off the hook for that.

Teams should get punished for it. Refs prevented that punishment, and thus altered the series.

After, it was an easy out, playing with house money against a team that just went to the depth of their limits and was wronged. Tough pill to swallow and move on over.

You think KD is swinging away freely in game 3 with the series tied 1-1, if it even is tied 1-1?

Cleveland would be the team playing with nothng to lose in that game 2.

This is dumb. He is a shell of his former self. Last year, he was still in his prime.

His injury in game 5 was literally the last game of his prime.

That was their chance and they blew it.
