That glimpse tonight without KD showed again how much pressure he relieves Curry and GSW, HOU had no problem shutting Steph down, hard traps after hard trap, causing panic and soft passes

HOU forced Iggy, Dray, Klay to score and they did just that, executing entire 1st half.

But make no mistake about it, how many times you gonna see Iggy drop 5/7 three's, or Looney 14 off the bench? Rockets laid some brilliant blueprint and film for Blazers/Nuggets next series.

Well, yea, is it supposed to be new information that a team would be better with KD than without him? And that is truly without him...not replacing him?

This is just stating the obvious and I've never heard anyone claim they'd be better off without KD.

What some people have said, and I agree with, is that if they replaced KD with other forwards in place of Barnes....they'd still be elite and would have likely won a title or two.

You can't look at the team without someone in place of KD. However, last night just proves the points I and others have been making for sometime. That even without KD this team is capable of playoff series wins against good to great teams because Klay/Dray/Steph/Iggy are way better as a core than people give them credit for.

Add the likes of a Tucker, Porter, Covington, Ingles...etc. And they'd still likely be the favorites for the title depending on where Durant was.

But, nobody thinks they are even close to as good without KD as they are with him. That was never the argument.
