They're fine without him.

There's no distinction to be made in terms of value vs. best.

Curry is the most important, ergo best. He gets the most out of them.

They would have gotten ran over with KD in place of him.

You're really implying that KD has given up on the GSW. So when we factor the reasons as to why he joined them in the first place, you'd still have to say yes.

with KD they easly beat the 2016 cavs.. so its really more about the level of stress currys under.. when curry isnt worried hes great. and who would be worried vs notorious playoff chokers like harden and paul

so its more about matchups IMO.. vs the rockets the warriors are great without durant. but vs a real team or real player like 2016 kyrie and front runner james they fail

Warriors are 29-4 without KD

I think it is actually 30-4 now...and I also think it is 28-1 in the last 29 games in which Steph plays and Durant doesn't.

Hard to believe people could watch the last 2 games in which the Warriors beat a really good Rockets team without him...and look at the above evidence...

And continue to say things like "Durant carries this Warriors team" and "Curry/Klay suck now"...etc.

Of course they are "worse" without KD...that was never the question. The question was...could they have signed a different small forward like a Tucker/Porter/Cov/Ingles type players...and still been elite and won titles.

And of course that answer is yes. Anyone disputing that doesn't understand just how great that Warriors core sans KD is.

Which, again, is hard to believe considering the ****ing team set the NBA wins record, won a title, got within like 2 plays of another, has gone on a 70 win pace without KD since he joined the team, and just closed out a great Rockets team in basically 2 games without KD.

Yep..... end of thread.

Only low iqs can’t read through scripted answers...it’s the professional thing to do... what’s Klay supposed to say? “No Kd, no problem? We won before that lanky ass bitch started riding our coattails.”? :lol

Not everyone aims to come off as a passive aggressive dipshit, look how it’s worked out for LeBron, dude has destroyed multiple teams and no one has even wanted to play with him for years

Rockets are just trash. If they were facing a team like Toronto or Milwaukee no way they win.

Highly doubt he was asked directly if they can win it all without Durant.

Riding coattails is exactly what your hero's been doing the last 3 seasons.

They both hold a win rate over what is required to advance in the playoff. KD gives you better fg%, and Steph gets you wins. The less offensive rebound they need the more dangerous they become.

as for the KD stops the ball movement. Iggy plays well with it, particularly off the bench, Green just hadn't been making acrobatic lay ups, which I'm certain at 1.7 steals per 36, he should find a way to figure it out.

KD is like an exquisite dessert while the rest of the Warriors are the 5-star appetizers & entrees.

The dessert is great and one of a kind.. but do you really need it?

If you think Durant is the reason that the Warriors won the past 2 titles, you should stop watching basketball.

If you insist on still watching, you should probably just shut up about it.

If you even still can't bring yourself to shut up about it, it's probably best that you just kill yourself.

The Warriors would be better without KD if they had 2-3 really good roleplayers in his place.

He was probably important in the LeBron matchup because KD idolizes LeBron and he wanted to bury him, but I mean...

The Warriors often stand around watching Durant play. It's not the same team with him on the floor.

so why do you continue to overrate individual physical talent over IQ, fit and teamwork?

Curry is the embodiment of everything youve been against.

KD is still by far their best player..

Steph's been inconsistent in these Playoffs while KD showed up for like 10 straight games before the injury.

So now regular season W's and L's mean something?

What's GS record in the postseason without Curry?

What's their record without KD?

I actually feel embarrassed for those of you that believe that Durant is better at basketball than Curry.

ISO scoring? Sure, no question... it's Durant. Defense? Sure, no question... it's Durant. But that's not all that basketball is. That's a surface level examination at best. Absolutely embarrassing.

Curry is and has been the best player on not only GSW but in the NBA as a whole. For the last 3 years at least. Maybe 4.

KD and SC are equally important for different reasons. Draymond is the 3rd most important for his intangibles. It will take all of these guys working together to get another title.

Durant is lucky Curry is the most selfless superstar of all time. He was able to rack up rings while getting as many shots as he wants because Curry is extremely impactful without even taking a shot. Guy gets trapped at half court consistently.

Curry has more patience than Durant, which can be a double-edged sword. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't.

But Durant is definitely the better player, but the Warriors were built for Curry, not Durant. So that needs to be taken into account.

Curry is a player who changed bball. Durant is better at basketball. Curry might even be more important than kd, but that may be chemistry. Still, kd is just better. He can do more things. Like u said d, offense, he's more clutch in general. Dude was putting up atg numbers.

I'm sorry dudes that u took it to heart when he signed w gsw. But that doesnt change the fact that when he came in that we knew kd was a top player and he's blown the expectations for him out of the water.

I also told u dudes that Lal had more chance getting a ring than Houston . They at least had like 0.001% chance. Rockets should have been able to handle this hobbled gsw team. They choked. As always.

Again : Durant is really good at basketball.

OP melting down hard. Good thing it's may. We'll get to see another epic meltdown when Djokovic pushes Nadals' shit in (if he even makes to Djoker as he's looked like crap) in the finals in early june.
