View Full Version : Warriors didn't need Durant to beat Lebron

They needed Durant to beat the refs.

The historic ref rigging forced GSW to get a guy who can get his shot of under all circumstance. Something that Curry can't when he is clotheslined and beaten up by the cheating Cavs.

Won because of stimulus package as Stephen A. Smith says for when Draymond was suspended and then Bogut out in games 6 and 7.

He couldn't beat me in my prime that is for sure.

Game 1: Warriors win 104-89

Bogut: a TEAM LOW -8 in a 15 point WIN in 15 minutes of play. Next lowest was Ian Clark with a -3 who played 2 whole minutes. Naturally he was very important to the Warriors winning that.

Game 2: Warriors win 110-77

Bogut: in a 33 point win, he was a +10, congratulations he's a positive right? Except that was the lowest plus/minus out of 8 players to play 12+ minutes....as you can see very vital

Game 3: Cavs win 120-90

Bogut: Not much to say here, GSW were terrible as a whole, Bogut's 4 points 2 rebounds didn't really help the situation

Game 4: Warriors win 108-97

Bogut: Surprisingly he wasn't a negative in this one, chalking up a whooping plus/minus of ZERO. Outstanding right. 10 minutes of play 0/1/1 statline, nice. Much importance

Game 5: Cavs win 112-97

Bogut: Can't say much, goes down with injury 7 minutes in, Curry proceeds to shit the bed with 25 points on 21 shots, blah blah

And as they say, the rest is history

That’s why LeBron averaged 24 ppg on 53%TS before Bogut got injured and Draymond was suspended?

Their best defender was suspended, they needed Boguts rim protection, LeBron was shooting like shit only getting layups and garbage around the rim. He looked like Moses Malone.

same as the league never needed Warriors to assess past players accomplishments and possibility of fraudulent behavior

ImKobe

Of course they didn't. But they did need Bogut, Green & Iggy.

Green suspended Game 5 (Silver stimulus package)
Bogut injured Games 6 & 7
Iggy gets injured in Game 6

And of course, Thompson & Barnes missing all the open shots in the last two games. Cavs won because Barnes kept bailing them out with his wide open misses, allowing them to continuously double Curry to force the ball out of his hands.

The only reason he led his team in rebounding was because TT, Love & RJ split minutes and the Warriors played small. Lebron averaged 24.8 ppg & 5.8 TOV before Draymond's suspension. He shot under 43% in all other 3 games @Oracle with Draymond playing and only scored 23, 19 & 27 in those games.

That's 100% true

Also Durant had a bit of respect from the refs by that time, unlike in the 2012 finals
