Most people have fatty livers. It's not really that big of deal.

Is this alcohol related or not?
And the advice is pretty straight forward. Make the choice to eat healthier foods. To help with fatty liver you want...
Fish
Fruits
Grains
Nuts
Olive oil
Vegetables
...Omega 3s are important. Antioxidants are important. Drink water and almost strictly water.

Real advice? Quit bullshitting and clean up your act. No drinking at all. Clean up your diet. Look into intermittent fasting to allow your liver to recover.
Live a long life.

Oh, and no tylenol. None. Switch to another pain reliever.

I never felt better in my adult life than after I started doing intermettent fasting. I've been doing the 16/8 deal for about two or three years and it's so freeing not having to depend on food. People seem to be addicted to junk. Western society has it drilled into our brains that we need to carb load right in the morning after we wake up, and that's simply not true. Drink plenty of water, let your body adjust and you're body will operate on healthy food for 16 hours without eating better than eating every 3-6 hours a day.

Yes, nobody dies from starvation in America. We die from overeating.
Hell, one of the prevailing theories leading to many cancer formations are due to the chronic inflammation caused by obesity.

Probably from all those supplements you used to take when everyone was just telling you to eat more.

How bad it is, bruh? As others said better diet, less alcohol and more exercise should help. Hope things get better for you.

BTW, why did you even have an MRI anyway? You don't get an MRI to check out your liver, you get an ultra sound.

I'm not saying that. I'm sure an MRI can see a fatty liver. I'm just curious as an ultra sound is what they use if they are just checking your liver. ( I know this having had two before) I'm mostly just curious as to why OP had an MRI in the first place.

No. Ultrasound is cheap, but as that article states MRI is better. MRI's, as anyone in America knows that's had one, are expensive as ****, therefore they are reserved for highly suspicious findings.
PS: Your paper's focus was about the cost benefits of MRI to biopsy, not ultrasound.

Drink tons of fresh green juices and milk thistle tea.
And stop cooking your fats, never eat cooked fat again. Eat plenty of raw butter, raw eggs, raw bone marrow, raw milk, raw dairy cream, raw coconut cream, and raw cheese.

I tried 16/8 IF but my glucose fasting level is a bit higher than normal so I just have to stick with a keto-ish diet where I eat small portions throughout the day that consist of low carb, high protein stuff like eggs, chicken, poke bowls with mixed greens (no rice), salads, etc.
Arms looking thick now tho
Abs are visible in the morning
Getting ready to train for a Marathon next year too

Keto and IF like everybody says. Cut out all sugar and alcohol, sip hot tea throughout workday to melt it down. Ginger republic of tea bags from whole foods are amazing btw but expensive
Fortunately, I don't think they said it's alcohol related. It's more than likely diet. But, I have been drinking a lot

Draz so sorry to hear this. ...
Have you been drinking wine at all ??
It will eliminate your fat , and if that doesn't do the trick , ask a brother or
sister for their liver.... we all have two of them.

:facepalm If your liver is in any kind of distress alcohol is not going to help.
Alcohol is a poison to a healthy liver. What do you suppose it's going to do an unhealthy one?

but cmon OP, let's go on keto together fix this
What's 18/6?
Will fasting help?
I'm going to trim down. I'm skinny fat. I'll do cardio 5-7 times a week. I think I have elevated ALT from also the extra belly fat.
They obviously seen severe fat on the liver so my diet has to change..

cmon bro, do fasting and keto. your body gets used to it. this is coming from someone who's always hungry. your body gets adjusted to not eating pretty quickly. just drink black coffee and lots of water, that will curb ur hunger

Cardio doesn't really help burning fat after a while. Your body just adapts.....Unless every cardio session is more intense than the last.
Do intervals or at least mix up the pace and intensity a bit too.
Of course, lifting weights would be even better.

"Cardio doesn't burn fat" is broscience. People are just lazy or dont like cardio. If your diet is on point, adding cardio helps a lot, especially hiit. I never got leaner than when I was doing wind sprints every day.
