Just saw this tweet regarding your president saying he'll be giving NASA additional budget.
Reading the replies, why are they hating on him?
It is really sad when hate gets on the way of good news like this.

Herd mentality. They're so blinded by their hatred of Trump that they won't give him credit for anything, even if it's objectively positive like this.

Not a trump fan but I like this a lot.
We need more government funding of scientific programs that push the limits of engineering and tech.

We are going to the moon and Mars. Wonderful!!
Now Lil Donny, can you f*cking care about our planet next? Quit gutting EPA and environmental research department that NASA has. Yes, NASA budget for space programs is going up but the environmental research aspect is being slashed significantly. Motha****a Lil Donny, it's not 'National Space Administration'.
NASA has the personnel, resources and expertise in areas like computer modeling, engineering, robotics, life supports, propulsion, clean energy generation/efficiency to be a key proponent in environmental research & possible engineering solutions. We need all the expertise we can get for perhaps the greatest problem of our time, perhaps since humanity's existence on this planet around 3 million years ago (including other extinct human species). Our only home we have ever known is being threatened by our own ill-advised decisions over last 35 years. Now almost everything NASA has touched historically has turned to gold. Don't be f*cking gutting that aspect of NASA, motha****a.
Look here, motha****a:
At the start of the Mauna Loa Observatory record, it took 16 years for atmospheric carbon dioxide to rise 15 ppm. It took 6 years to do the same from 2010-2016. It feels like only a few years ago we were worried about crossing the 400 ppm threshold, which wait. We were.
CO2 rise is speeding up, motha****a. Lets focus resources on becoming carbon neutral. NASA could help big time with that in engineering aspect.

spacex is so far ahead of NASA it isn't even close. Have fun dumping that money into 60's technology :oldlol:

Trump is not always wrong. This is definitely a good thing.

You realize that spacex's technology is built on the back of decades of government funded research.
