2006 Finals Dirk vs 2011 Finals Dirk

I found it interesting how similar he played in both Finals. Nearly identical in every way.

2006 Dirk: 23-11-3 on 35/29/85 shooting splits (GmScore = 16.2; ORtg = 109; DRtg = 100)

2011 Dirk: 26-10-2 on 42/37/98 shooting splits (GmScore = 16.6; ORtg = 105; DRtg = 105)

Dirk is great, and is a top 4 PF all time, but he was a very average finals performer.

His scoring dropped. His efficiency plummeted and he had more turnovers than assists.

LeBron single handedly raised Dirk 10 spots on the GOAT list by handing him a ring with his 2011 bed sh!t

it's funny because Wade was the 2nd or 3rd best player in 2010 - so how can the "goat" team up with the next best player and then lose? And then be the underdog in 2012 and 2014?.. And be an underdog every year next to Kyrie?

Doesn't it seem weird to lebron fans that the so-called goat could team up with other great players and then mostly lose or be the underdog????... a perennial whipping boy regardless of cast?...
