I actually kind of respected this dude after he publicly despised the Twilight trilogy and role he played in it.

Looks like he's actually a legit actor and Nolan is giving him a spot in his next movie also

yeah, not fair to judge an actor based on some stupid teeny bopper shit he probably only did for a paycheck early in his career.

heath ledger's claim to fame at one point was 10 things i hate about you. :lol

pattinson was supposedly really good in good time. been meaning to check that out for a while now.

Can DC just sell the rights to Marvel? This is sad.

Like a lot of people, I wasn't happy about this casting when I first heard it. Everyone felt the same way when it was first announced that Heath Ledger would play the Joker... look how that turned out. Robert Pattinson is a pretty good actor, so I'm gonna give him a chance. If he bulks up and dyes his hair black, he could pull off a good Bruce Wayne/Batman look. Lets see how this turns out.

Dude is going to have to pack on muscle. Won't judge until it's on screen, but DC is in shambles when it had so much promise. Wonder Woman was solid, I didn't mind the casting of Superman and Batman in Cavil and Affleck, but the writing for Batman v Superman and especially Justice League was horrible. Sucks considering Man of Steel was very solid for what it was. It's a challenge to make a movie centered around an alien from space that has almost infinite strength and laser coming from their eyes.

The concept of Batman v Superman wasn't horrible. They totally missed on casting Lex Luther. And while I didn't mind Doomsday, the should've had a different model and never should have revealed Doomsday at all during the trailers before the film.

Dude has been killing it on indie movies. He needs to bulk up though.

Just make a Boogie Nights 2 and he can be the lil fucc boi in that. That would quiet the LGBTQ who complain they are not being represented enough on the big screen.

DC racking up wins lately with Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Shazam:cheers:

Batman needs a reboot and they have to move on from the justice league, no one wants to see that shit what a mess.. they're pumping out the tv series now aswel

It's rare DC announces a casting choice and people are satisfied or don't complain. I'm willing to bet Pattison will be just fine in the role. I'm sure the first thing in his contract will be to pack on weight and muscle.

Been saying this. Jon Hamm is a good actor and has the perfect Bruce Wayne/Batman look. Unfortunately he's 48 so he's a little too old to play the role now.

Not going to lie, I love that movie

Everything I hear from Pattison is that he's a good actor, it's just hard to care for CBM that much anymore.

He's more of a comedic actor, Batman is serious and dark..

Pattison better be lifting as we speak

Lex was one of the dumbest casting decisions ever made on film. The Zuckerberg copy cat was supposed to play a minor role and Heissenberg was supposed to be Lex, but good ol' Snyder went full retard when he saw Eisenberg's acting and decided the change things up.
