I don't get it. Just because he said it doesn't mean it's true. You can have a creator that created something that has flaws. And God did just that. How do you define perfect anyways? Just because the book said it, doesn't make it true.
How do you know God wanted to you to take the book literal anyway? Where in the book does it NOT say that it's not metaphors?
