to be fair... kobe was injured for most of his finals

2000 - ankle, broken hand earlier in season
2004 - not recovered from major shoulder/knee issues
2008 - dislocated finger in shooting
2009 - torn ligament in shooting hand
2010 - broken index finger in shooting hand, torn knee

and its convenient OP can leave out MJ's 1996 finals lol

To be fair, Kobe never had to suffer the wrath of a ruptured vag.

Kobe was chucking like a madman in that finals and its the biggest black mark on his career. Had Kobe just played like normal and passed Shaq the ball he would have had 6 rings and a 4 peat. That one is all on Kobe.

you try shooting with a cast on your shooting hand and not even being able to bend it or feel the ball

Did we forget 2003? How you gonna 4peat if it's not 4 in a row?

In 2013, Lebron won with the worst true shooting (52.9%), as a net negative (-0.2), and needed a teammate to close

He also averaged 16 on 39% thru 3 games

Furthermore, his 23 on 43% was insufficient thru 6 games, so he needed Ray to force game 7.. MJ was never that bad thru 6 games, so he never needed a game 7
