My theory is the media just needs something to get excited about.

You saying this leads me to believe you're not a big basketball fan. So why should anyone give a shit about your opinion? It's an indictment on you as a basketball fan if you don't know who Middleton, Brogdon, Bledsoe and Lopez are. Also, Giannis Antetokounmpo is not that hard of a name to say and him supposedly not having a jump shot has not prevented him from being one of the best players in the world and the likely MVP who's close to leading the Bucks to the finals.

The 96 Sonics had one hall of famer yet were arguably the bulls best opponent. Get over just looking at the top 1-2 guys, supporting casts absolutely matters
