Leading the 2nd option in scoring by goat amounts (scoring champ), while still tying in assists is the goat load:
91-93' Playoffs
MJ (https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jordami01.html#1991-1993-sum:playoffs_per_game):. 34 on 52%.. 6.6 apg.. 2.9 TO.. 31.1 ast%.. 36.1 usg.. 120 ortg.. 29.5 PER
Pip (https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/pippesc01.html#1991-1993-sum:playoffs_per_game):. 20 on 47%.. 6.1 apg.. 3.4 TO.. 23.3 ast%.. 24.9 usg.. 109 ortg..19.6 PER
96-98' Playoffs
MJ (https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jordami01.html#1996-1998-sum:playoffs_per_game):. 31.4 on 45.9%.. 4.1 apg.. 2.3 TO.. 22.3 ast%.. 35.1 usg.. 118 ortg.. 27.3 PER
Pip (https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/pippesc01.html#1996-1998-sum:playoffs_per_game):. 17.6 on 40.8%.. 5.0 apg.. 2.7 TO.. 22.0 ast%.. 23.4 usg.. 109 ortg.. 19.0 PER
The goat carry-job..
MJ averaged 10-20 more than his 2nd option in all Finals (1-man show and closer), compared to 2-5 for lebron in his Finals wins (equal scoring teammate that closed)

1600 points >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 180 boards and 20 assists/steals/blocks
Even if every extra board, assist, steal, and block that Scottie accumulated led to a 3 pointer for the Bulls, he'd still contribute less than half of those 1600 points that Jordan has over him. :oldlol:

^^^ Poppycock
MJ was considered a better PG than magic/isiah during his 24 games at PG in 89' (30/9/11 and 10 triple-doubles in 11 games):
"In just 16 games at point guard, Jordan has gone from the league’s leading scorer the last two seasons to being lumped with Johnson, John Stockton of Utah and Isiah Thomas of Detroit as the elite among NBA point guards. Jordan may already be the best of the group."
http://ballislife.com/michael-jordan-could-of-been-the-best-point-guard-ever-want-proof/
^^^^^ Pippen didn't have it like that... :whatever:...
MJ led the bulls in assists or tied Pippen, despite maintaining the biggest scoring edge and burden ever - that's the goat load
rebounding no
More offensive rebs than lebron
Def rebs are easier to replace
steals no
3x steals champ
How many for Pip
defense no
Dpoy for MJ and 9 first teams

Oh, and MJ was required to do everything in the clutch, as teammates were instructed by Phil Jackson to "leave Michael all alone":
Phil Jackson to teammates during 4th quarter of 91' Finals:
Don't leave Michael all alone here.. it's not time YET (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOgJhzj4W9M&t=30m20s)..

:facepalm ... Klay sucks
whats his best finals opponent i just saw 2 of his finals were against worst all time second options :oldlol: :oldlol:
Hornacek > Klay
Let alone Stockton... :facepalm ... Stockton is a top 20 all-time player (http://i67.tinypic.com/dbntvp.jpg)... :whatever:
And Hornacek was at 20 ppg and 6-7 apg player in his prime - he averaged 5.8 apg for an 8 year span (88-94')..
Whereas Klay averages like 1 apg and is just a robotic shooter

Please pippen was a weak shooter from everywhere outside 3 feet and could frequently disappear in the playoffs.

^^^^ How many did he get with the scoring title?

Or did he just focus on D??... and virtually NEVER command a double team .... And get half his measly 18 a game off the attention paid MJ????
Again, I'll wait..

That's the kind of stuff that I love. Where a person reaches such a level that it's clear, there's no objection. That's a true sign of an absolute best. Few players reach such a level.

Lame. MJ outscored Pip by 14 per game while matching him in every other category. Except for rebounding, they are only separated by a few tenths of a point per game.

Jordan is close in everything except rebounding and he's the GOAT scorer in history by a lightyear.
How you interpret that in whatever way you're interpreting it is beyond me.

Legoat led both teams in all stats
He led the most important category by 2 ppg
MJ led by 20 ppg in the 93' and 98' Finals, and 10-20 ppg for all Finals
So one guy had an equal scoring partner that commanded double-teams and closed, while the other guy was a 1-man show and closer
Night and day.. :sleeping

this is the great "leader" that was pippen
That year, the Bulls were a middle pack team and weren't going anywhere before MJ returned towards the end of the season.

Lol @these desperate retards. It's not that Pippen was that far in front in these stats.
3% more assists
11% more steals
18% more blocks
21% more rebounds
