Steals are actually a really overrated statistic. Yes, great defenders were getting steals, but terrible defensive players like Allen Iverson were, too, because of the fact the idiot would just screw over the rest of his teammates and jump into the lane every single time regardless if it was smart or not. It mostly ended up in the other team scoring and not him getting a steal.

Much as I hated Snaq then, he put up those numbers against D Rob (albeit the shadow of D Rob) and Timmy.

Kirby got his numbers against the corpses of Porter and Smitty, since our one guard Anderson got Juwaned out of the playoffs. Oh, and 6' 4" Antonio Daniels.
