Five straight Finals is awesome, but is it really any more awesome than 7 Finals in 8 years, or 9 in 12, by the Showtime Lakers? That's at least as much an indication of sustained excellence. The Warriors might compete for 2-3 more Finals after this year, but surely not for seven more years.


Spurs were absolutely dominating Steph & KD before they sent Zaza in to take out Kawhi.

Leonard's own teammate almost took him out earlier in the game, his foot was probably already weakened. In any case, while without that injury, the Warriors probably would not have won fifteen straight playoff games, does anyone think the Spurs would have won that series? They dominated OKC in Game 1 of the semis the year before, and look how that series turned out.
