If the kid wasn't as good as the other players?
If the parents paid for the kid to be on that club team?

Depends. Some clubs are not competitive and focus more on having fun and nurturing kids so on those clubs you'd not sit a kid just cause he suck.

bet you that kid who's parents paid to get him on there would rather see his team succeed with the better player playing

If parents paid for the coaching wouldn't they want to their kid playing?

To answer your question, no it's not right. You deserved better...and healthier nourishment. I mean what did your dads feed you, deep fried spam sandwiches?

Why do you ask, having another flash back episode of your rough childhood? Daddy and Daddy2 slaved during the summer to get you onto that rec team and you ain't even make it off the bench :lol Prolly a fat kid, I imagine.

Aren't you the guy that looks like Taylor Lautner with down syndrome?

Stop projecting dude. ISH is toxic enough. No need to bring your negativity into a thread attacking noone.

AAU, development teams, and high school teams yes for sure. You're playing to win and there's a purpose.

I'd say everyone gets playing time. Perhaps it's just a short amount of time but, that's part of being in the club: playing....not just practicing.

Especially if it is being paid for. Playing is part of the deal.

Every rec center league I've been too, they have an everybody plays rule where everyone is guaranteed 15 minutes a game.

Most of the time everyone knows what a league is about. If it isn't made clear them I guess the coach can do what they want but a lot of kid leagues hand out mandatory pt and then as they get to high school it becomes more about just winning.

Youth level should be about development. Coaches teaches and develop fundamental skills of the sport in a team concept. Most of the time parents confused winning with development because both can be true at the same time. When you attach recreational then kids should have fun too which means they should be playing regardless of the result. Unfortunately at the club level,a lot of parents wants to win and if they pay money, the result is the most important even at the expense of others just to boost their ego which is meaningless in my opinion.

In reality especially in basketball, you gotta have the genetic makeup to play to the next level. In high school, winning becomes priority so it
