West 252 wins, East 198 wins

Put the Clippers in the East and they probably get the 3rd seed with the easier schedule.

there's a bigger change in team ORtg when Kobe leaves the floor or comes back in than Curry - Kobe simply had bigger offensive impact

But the media simply likes to overrate guys - it makes their job and analysis easier - that's what they did with Bron and now Curry

They're overrating his offensive impact - the stats above show that

They're overrating his offensive impact - the stats show that there's a bigger change in team ORtg when Kobe leaves the floor or comes back in than Curry - Kobe simply had bigger offensive impact (stats in previous post)

So the stats prove Kobe's greater impact, and therefore jordan's

“Repeat a lie a thousand times and it becomes the truth ...”

If anyone wonder what's going on in Simon's shallow mind.

Curry carried his team without Iggy, Cousins or KD. If Lebron was in his position im pretty sure he'd get the cramps by now.

Yeah and what happened?

He missed the playoffs 3 years in a row :lol

Maybe LeBron will pass him after 3 more years if he misses the playoffs each year like Kobe did :lol

Because he has been doing this for five years while playing on the same team. I can admit the Durant acquisition was a weak move but overall Curry has still dominated for 2.5 years at the least; even if you take away 2018 and a portion of 2017. We aren't giving him credit for having the drive and mental toughness to make it to five consecutive Finals appearances. When you boil it down who has even come close to that?

-Jordan was excellent but he only made it three times
-Duncan only ever made it to two in a row
-Shaq and Kobe both only made it to three in a row maximum
-LeBron made it to four in a row with Miami and another four with Cleveland but he switched teams

The kid is tough, and he just decimated the WCF without Durant, Cousins, or Iggy. Let's give him some credit.

Except NBA com's stats (http://insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=13718893&postcount=5) show that there's a bigger change in team ORtg when Kobe leaves the floor or comes back in than Curry - Kobe simply had bigger offensive impact

But the media likes to overrate the current guys - it makes their job and analysis easier - that's what they did with Bron and now Curry.. but their bias causes shock when the West exposed Lebron or Curry underwhems again in the championship

Not a big enough sample size without Curry. What we do know is that Curry swept the blazers without his running mate Durant. Something MJ could never accomplish without Pippen.

Curry's numbers are worse in other years - in the 2018 playoffs, there was only a 6.2 change (https://stats.nba.com/team/1610612744/onoffcourt-summary/?sort=DIFF_OFF_RATING&dir=1&Season=2017-18&SeasonType=Playoffs) the Warriors ORtg with and without Curry (17.2 change for DurantGoat)

And btw, you would have to remove durant AND klay for curry to have 1 all-star teammate like MJ had for 6 rings

Let's not forget they had to face the Rockets with an INJURED KD. Last year, the Rockets took GSW to 7 games. The only reason GSW won the series this year is because of Harden's playoff chokes. If Harden was strong mentally that series, they would have knocked off the Warriors in 7. Believe that!

His weak path to the Finals was supposed to be stopped by?

The Rubio Jazz?
The Beverly Clippers?
The Kanter Blazers?
The Conley Grizzlies?
The Danny Green Spurs?

I mean...wow

The West won more games than the East this year. You can eyeball the data and see clearly that the West got the best of the East in the division records stats. No team w/a winning record in the West has a losing record against Eastern teams. A few teams w/winning records in the East have losing records against the West.

I was wondering why people felt shocked about warriors performance. They are basically remain the same core since 2015 while the west is clearly weaken. Regardless of KD absence.
