He didn't really quit playing for SA either until Zaza deliberately targeted his injury. He's a winner of a player despite the politics and alienating himself from the team.

Winner of a player, didn't say he was a winner of a teammate. He kawhit on SA after his devastating injury and didn't care to play after he was cleared.
He was playing hurt when Zaza dingo'd him, so him playing now makes sense.

For a city without pristine weather or oceanfront, it's actually really dope place to live or for tourism. Just expensive
The downtown area is always poppin
Along with Atlanta, it easily has the best after hours spots and loose laws on closing times
Ethnicity demographic is huge, up there with NYC. It has it all, food, shopping, drinks, music, p*ssy
Toronto, San Diego, Atlanta, Chicago, great downtown atmosphere

The weather is terrible, one of the reasons why it sucks.

This one I don't understand; there isn't much in Toronto. Most of the things you'd want to do are outside of Ontario; camping/cottages (up north), Niagara Falls, Tobermory and that's basically it.
The downtown area is always poppin
With?
Along with Atlanta, it easily has the best after hours spots and loose laws on closing times
This is where your dead wrong; last call is at 2am. Clubs close at 3am. Moreover most of the clubs have shutdown in downtown toronto and moved out of the city. Some haven't reopened at all; Guvernment.
Ethnicity demographic is huge, up there with NYC. It has it all, food, shopping, drinks, music, p*ssy
No, LOL. Toronto is mostly Indians and Chinese. Food, this is one area where Toronto actually does well in.
The other problems with Toronto is the absolutely dreadful traffic. 2 subway lines for a city of 6 million is a joke. That alone takes Toronto out of the 'world class' title.
There's also no culture, no history there. Canada as a whole is what, 150 years? Toronto is just a mix of mostly Chinese and Indians and a bunch of others which are mostly Persians, and smaller pockets of 'cultural' spots like Little Italy, Greektown, etc. There's nothing unique about Toronto, nor is there anything about the city that makes it a cut above any other city. Also; expensive housing; condos start at 400k while average salary is about 48k. Rent for one bedroom shoebox is starts at $1,600/month. That's terrible.
It really is an overrated city.
Toronto, San Diego, Atlanta, Chicago, great downtown atmosphere
Chicago, yes. Can't speak for the others.

Missed that (sort of); there aren't many after hours clubs though... and the ones that exist, you wouldn't want to be in (Comfort Zone? LOL... if it's still even open).
The laws are strict with the 2am and 3am closing times. Canada in general is overrun with regulation... one of the main reasons why it's such a sterile country.

I'd personally like Kawhi to stay in Toronto, but he's gonna need a younger and better '2nd' star to keep pace long-term with the Bucks and Philly/Boston based on their current rosters.

Younger and better than Siakim? Who do you have in mind?
17/7/3 55% fg, very good defense (regular season)
19/7/3 47% fg, very good defense (post season)
Won at a 77% win rate as his team's first option over the course 22 reg season games.
Siakim is LEGIT bro, he's only in his third year too, once he fills out some more, gets a little more seasoning and savvy, continues to improve his 3 point shot, he is going to be a SERIOUS PROBLEM.
Shiiiiiit, I'll take him AS IS right now over 80% of the 2nd options in the league. Lebron and KD have messed the game up to where now if your 2nd option isn't a superstar (Wade, Curry) or borderline superstar (Kyrie) they aint spit.
That's BULLCRAP.

Who really wants to stay in the east? It's such a cake walk there's no glory in making it out there. That's why Lebron would rather not even make the playoffs in the west than suffer another long playoff run in the Least.
If you can't lead a team in the West just quit playing the sport.

When I watched him he doesn't seem to be that good on offense. He doesn't create that well when he tried, can't shoot, basically just a role player. Marc Gasol and Kyle Lowry seems much better than Siakam these past few games.

Speculation on what he 'could' be down the line is a non-starter conversation. I'm aware of what he is at the moment, and that's not someone I see as a championship second option. All of these things depend on how the league landscape shifts over the coming seasons and his own level of improvement. Again, speculation and what ifs.

Ok, so who are the YOUNG potential second options that you view as championship calibre RIGHT NOW?

Well firstly, when I made that comment the first time I wasn't thinking about Siakim as the 2nd option, I was actually referring to Kyle Lowry. He's your second all-star and well north of 30. Now if you're making the case that their second best player is now Siakim,OK:confusedshrug: . Don't particularly care to argue for or against that idea( he probably is) but for the sake of the conversation, if Toronto keeps Kawhi they're going to need a BETTER second option than what I see right now to get past the Warriors and to leap definitively to the head of the eastern pack, unless Siakim makes a leap forward. Right now I see him as a solid 3rd piece/x factor type of player. Which while there's no reason to think he won't continue to trend upwards, again, this is speculation. As this playoffs has demonstrated, there's a lot of parity in the east with Milwaukee, Toronto and Philly, with Boston not far behind.

Possibly the most ridiculous statement I've ever read on this site. Congrats for that. :applause:
I've spent extensive time in both cities. Toronto is one of the liveliest, most progressive cities in the world. Not quite NYC, but not far behind. A cleaner, livelier, more international Chicago.
Like saying Bill Russell was only slightly better than Benoit Benjamin.

Kawhi is just mild mannered, shy and maybe has social anxiety. Seems like a cool guy.

Agree fully, Siakam is a serious legit all star to pair with a superstar.
What the Raps will need in coming years if Kawhi stays is a replacement PG for an aging Lowry, but if he does stay they can easily attract one on free agency.

I was shocked Kawhi was out there laboring so hard and still going on. He was very visibly hurt and he was STILL jumping off of both feet postering Giannis and giving 100% effort on every play. That.. I did not expect.
Being one of the Toronto fans that's been thinking this whole time that Kawhi is 100% going to leave, it was a very pleasant surprise to see Kawhi leave it all on the floor like that.
Man I am going to be sad as **** if he leaves but this was definitely a good sign. Guy is absolutely incredible to watch. Easily a better player than Durant.
