And Steph was 3rd team last year.

Thats what happens when you play only 50 something games.

Leonard was probably knocked from first to second for the same reason. He played about 60.

Among the 6 forwards (LBJ, Kawhi, KD, Giannis, Griffin, PG13) here are LBJs ranks:

LBJ's ranks
PPG: 3rd
RPG: 2nd
APG: 1st
SPG: 4th
BPG: 3rd

KD's ranks
PPG: 4th
RPG: 6th
APG: 3rd
SPG: 6th

LBJ has one 1st and nothing below 4th
KD has zero 1st and two 6th

Huh? Why aren't you going by totals?

Also the averages thing is easy. KD's on a much better team vs a lottery team. You know, one guys winning championships the other is doing the thing Kevin Love did in Minnesota, right?

SAMPLE
SIZE

Are you dense?

Nice try, but that has no bearing here

Career averages satisfy any "sample size" conditions the same as totals would. It's the same for regular season as well, same factors exist just on a larger scale. So you're not answering the question at all with this, just deflecting.

So try again, moron. This time stay focused

When you sit 22 games for "maintenance" you shouldn't be on any NBA team as far as I'm concerned. Kawhi also 2nd team all defensive was a joke when he basically played average, AT BEST, defense the entire season while he was coasting.

Anthony Davis is missing. Is there a game minimum for consideration in all-nba? Davis played 56 games. 55 games represents 2/3rds of all games. But I noticed to be considered in NBA stats - you need to play 58 games (https://stats.nba.com/help/statminimums/) - or 70%. If the same requirement was needed for All-NBA selection, that could be a reason why he was left off.

Otherwise, he did well even this year, even compared with his career stat averages: 25.9 pts/game, 12 RB. 3rd in the league player-efficiency (http://insider.espn.com/nba/hollinger/statistics); and a solid two-way player.

Yeah it's pretty much situational. 3rd team is still elite.

lebron played 55 so no. The trade deadline stuff along with all the rest kind of knocked him out of the conversation even though he deserved some discussion

If judging by minute played, his stats is just as amazing as before. NBA simply fked him bad. not a single 1st & 2nd team vote?? AD is still the best pf&C.

Post season players are REWARDED for advancing (e.g. Going 1-9 does have its consequences). You new to the NBA? :lol

Totals matter in post season

Another fail

Postseason has variables too. By your logic, players are rewarded for taking longer to beat teams than if they beat them quicker (Going 7 games vs 4). Not to mention the era differences where you only had to win 3 games instead of 4

Try again youngster. Stop trying to deflect with irrelevant shit

Let's start with advancing. The gold standard for most top 10 players is probably 7 appearances or more. (Bron, Magic, Kareem, Kobe, Russell, etc)

LeBron made 9 Finals. How many did Jordan make?

Oh, 6?

Why did he only make it to 6 Finals

This is another deflection, so you basically concede the point that you’re unable to answer my original question. I’m not surprised

That said, you just opened yourself up to another question I’m sure you won’t answer:

Are you saying making 9 Finals and winning 3 championships is BETTER than making 6 Finals and winning 6 championships? That’s your implication here, I’m curious if you’ll stand by it

Your screen name is very fitting :lol

Am I supposed to hold it against LeBron for making 9 Finals instead of 6 like 1-9 Jordan as the reason why LeBron has more playoff points?

It's one of the dumbest things I can think of, almost dumber than "LeBron lost in the Finals 6 times" as if Jordan didn't lose in the 1st round 3 times which is far worse.

So again, you make no sense and you have no leg to stand on.

My turn.

Why did Jordan only make it to 6 Finals?

Never said hold anything against him, moron. Fact is if you win quicker, you play less games. True or False? In fact, a team that swept its way to a championship when it was best of 5 would play LESS games than a team making the Conference Finals today

Use what
