I believe it's called Global Warming.
Or Climate Change.
One of those two.

ya it's been a chilly spring here in chicago. lake temperature was 37 degrees last time i checked and when those ne winds blow, highs barely reach fifty in the city. should be at least sixty this time of year. then the next day u get some sw winds and it hits 87, lol.

You know what's funny? I live about 10 minutes away from Clearwater beach yet haven't had a beach day in a good 3-4 years.
I've gone out to the beach and hit different restaurants and bars as such, but haven't gone to the beach FOR the beach in a loooong time. Yet, I've taken vacations during that time to different Caribbean hot spots like Punta Cana and chilled on their beaches, all the while I've got one of the best beaches in the world basically in my backyard. :hammerhead:
Well when you grow up in central florida along the coast (I'm on the opposite side of the state from you) the beach becomes something you no longer give a **** about unless you are a true beach bum.
The only time I've been to the beach in years and years is when other people want to go. I probably haven't initiated a beach trip myself in about 5+ years.
I personally don't find it appealing. Sand inevitably gets everywhere, even if you never sit down. Your feet are ****ed. You basically have to stand upright the entire time, not get in the water, and then wash your feet and immediately slip sandals on to have any sort of hope of escaping without sand.
I'm not even remotely close to being a clean freak... NOT EVEN CLOSE... but I absolutely hate sand.

That's exactly what it is, and like you I never was a huge beach person. When I was a kid I'd never really go to the beach since mom and dad were always working, it wasn't until high school when people would skip school to hit the beach that going out there really became a thing for me. To be completely honest, I far and away prefer the beach at night time. The amount of stars you get to see in the sky is stunning considering how urbanized pinellas county is...you can't get away from the light pollution unless you hit a beach or (even better) go out to new Tampa deep on the outskirts of Hillsborough.
Plus it's great for fishing. My favorite spot to fish is Dunedin, might be my favorite city here too. The downtown has great energy, lots of cool spots to visit.

Here in Jersey it's gonna be beautiful the next 2 days, around 70, but after that it's gonna heat up near 90 for the beginning of next week.

The beach is far better at night, completely agreed.
Far fewer ******s around and it's just a lot more peaceful overall.
