Conventional wisdom is that the more success the Raptors experience this season, the more likely Kawhi is to stay with them.
But...
If the Raptors beat the Warriors, then Kawhi might think "My job here is done, off to LA."
If they lose... especially if they lose in heartbreaking fashion... well, Kawhi was on the 2012 Spurs team that lost to the Heat, then he and the Spurs tasted sweet revenge the following season when they dominated that same team, won the title, and Kawhi was finals MVP. Might Kawhi not experience deja vu and think 'Yeah, if I come back here next year, we're totally winning it all."?
