That seems to be pretty elite company, there seems to be a common denominator that appears multiple times within that list? Hmm

Yeah, there is some kind of common denominator but I can't put my finger on it.

why did you list the 15 gs team and not the 17 gs team :oldlol:.

If this place had more 80s guys like it used to, you get lot of comments about how rs wins didnt matter to the celtics or lakers but I lean Bulls over showtime at least.

We didnt see a team with a high win total this year that was historically great during the rs and I dont think we see one next year either unless something weird happens in free agency

What about championships beating the highest team records ever?

My bad, I changed the OP thread to include them. I was just going off the top of my head, thought that team won 65. I was wrong.

Congrats on dominating a weak era :oldlol:

Didn't beat the Pistons, Celtics, or Lakers at their best. Had to wait for them to get old to get past them

Wilt, MJ and Steph have multiple appearences on the list.

The commonality were these teams had GOAT passing, defense, an overall cohesive system ... AND a go-to legend to "bring it home".

The 86 Celts, These Dubs, Showtime Lakers, Mike/Pippen's Bulls.

Murder bro.

All but 2 of those series was rigged. 67 might as well have been rigged too since the 60's had no competitive integrity anyways. So that means only 1 of those series was legitimate...

This proves that LeBron has always had to do more with less. No crazy regular season record.

Those Bulls teams had inflated records due to expansion draft
