Lebron ever had a worse 2nd option than Gasol?

Gasol before Kobe - 1x all-star, 0 Playoff wins

Big Z before Lebron - 1x all-star, Playoff win
Wade before Lebron - 6x all-star, All-NBA, alpha ring
Irving before Lebron - 2x all-star, All-NBA
Love before Lebron - 3x all-star, All-NBA

I think this is not argued by anyone except LeTards and we ignore those.

It's a historical fact but it's nice to be reminded of it once in a while.

Kobe did more with less.

When has Gasol avg. worse than 8-7 in a 7gm Finals series and still won?

How many times has Gasol been held scoreless in a Finals game and still won the series??

Gasol >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Love and Bosh

Kobe WAS the 2nd option.

I’m not a big stats guy....I’m framing the argument in terms that some of our lower iq posters will be able to understand.

I’m just saying you and others will act like numbers alone made love and bosh elite players when they had both regular season and playoff success that DeMar DeRozan would be ashamed of....

Then turn around and say let’s go eye test when guys you don’t **** with have nasty numbers and better success than Bosh and Love ever dreamed on their own teams.

Just feels time to pick one.

Is it numbers or eye test/effectiveness?

You seem to swing to each extreme and forget you were just on the other side....

So Pau never had a bad game or a series now?

How many 30+pt games did Pau have as a 2nd option past the 2nd round of the Playoffs?

Conclusion: Kobe elevates his teammates and makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts, Bran does the exact opposite.

Which bad Finals series did Pau avg the same or worse than 8-7 on 36% shooting and still won the title?

Which bad Finals game did Pau score ZERO points and still won the game?

Reread my last post and work on your reading comprehension you stupid piece of shit. Stop derailing my thread with your nonsense. Shit.

So....you intentionality make what you call a low iq argument....obviously pointed at our LeBron trolls basing greatness off nothing but numbers....

Then you go back on your own argument saying Kobe is better than LeBron despite his worse numbers.

Meaning....you based your first argument on a premise you only pretend to believe.

Yet....you still seem to think it

So you think Bosh was bad in the 2013 Finals Game 7?

https://www.sbnation.com/nba/2013/6/21/4452340/nba-finals-heat-spurs-chris-bosh-defense

And Love wasn't even the 3rd option in the 2016 Finals, that was not his role outside the first game of the series when they tried it. I wouldn't have to explain to someone that all match-ups are not created equal.

And I love how Lebron apologists use FG% with a guy who mostly shot 3s due to Lebron Ball. Didn't Love have 9/14/3/2 in Game 7 with a +19 in just 30 minutes? Wasn't love an above 40% 3PT shooter for the Playoffs for Lebron? Didn't he have 3 straight 20/10 games in the Finals last year and they still lost all of them? Lebron won 0 games in the Finals with Love averaging 19/11 for the series, those are Pau Gasol numbers.

And why are you even comparing Love and Bosh as 3rd options to a primary 2nd option in Gasol? Of course they are prone to scoring less in a single game. Irving didn't have any 0 pt games either.

Except Kobe was the first option in 2 out of his 3 rings with Shaq and had to lead the team in points, rebounds, assists and blocks in a Game 7 to barely make it to the Finals the first time?

Love avg. three 3PA per game in the 6gms he played. Your reaching cries of desperation.

Read the thread title again.

You're using a 6-game sample size to discredit Love as a player, didn't he get injured early in one of those games?

And OP isn't saying that they were better as 3rd options, he said they were better individual players than Pau Gasol but were used as 3rd options on Lebron's teams. So what does Love/Bosh putting up worse numbers than Gasol as 3rd options have anything to do with them as individual players?

OP is even using their stats pre-Lebron/pre-Kobe to compare them, so why do you shift the argument and start comparing 3rd option numbers to 2nd options?

This is what OP said, where does he say that they were better as 3rd options?

The whole argument throughout the years has been that Lebrorn makes his teammates WORSE. That's what he does to 26/13 superstar players, he turns them into spot-up shooters. You think Pau Gasol would have been playing the same way he did in LA as Lebron's teammate?

Kobe always maximized post players and bigs in general

not his fault he can actually play a game that maxes his teammates strengths instead of relegating them to spotup duties and butchering their talent/game
