Ruiz is a great fighter. Should be undefeated since he whooped on Joseph Parker too.

Fury and Ruiz should fight for the top dawg position.

Fury would clean him out. Much better head movement.

AJ is as stiff as a fvcking gargoyle and a sitting duck.

lol Wilder is garbage.

He'd beat him comfortably.

Wilder has one guy better than Ruiz on his list of opponents; Fury. He lost to him. Ruiz is essentially a better version of Ortiz and he just about crumpled under him as well.

Tyson is a better boxer, but he'll win on the cards. Wilder is STILL more dangerous and obviously the hardest puncher in division.

Never was a big fan of Ortiz.

Can't believe what I just watched. lol

I threw a $40 on Ruiz at a slightly higher than 9 to 1 underdog.

I don't like this automatic rematch clause. Should only be in place if it goes to a decision. Ruiz should go off and fight Wilder or Fury.

Wilder would get sparked too. Ruiz is Ortiz with quicker hands and a better chin.

Joshua would kill Wilder. That still stands. Joshua doesn't struggle against fighters like that, and he doesn't have the output to bother him. Povetkin and Ruiz are exactly the type of fighters that Joshua sucks against. Ortiz would give him trouble too.

nah, joshua has turrible stamina. not the first time he gassed out midway through a fight he should've won comfortably. same thing happened against the ghost of klitschko. he survived that fight by the skin of his teeth.

bad stamina. questionable chin. his 2 main problems.

he's way too top heavy. carrying around too much unnecessary extra muscle. gotta slim down, work on cardio.

He needs to fire his entire staff, imo.

Dude looked like he had a mild concussion after the first knockdown and they KEPT letting him eat punches until he was damn near brain dead. Ref could've stopped that shit MUCH earlier. If he's gonna have defense like that in this division, he might as well quit before someone literally kills him. Seems like his corner didn't give a fvck.

That's the only sad thing about it.

Joshua has looked shaky since the Klitschko fight. Takam, Povetkin and Riuz have all hurt him inside the first few rounds. He gets hit often and easily and he's not fighting with the ferocity and speed like he used to. He used to completely rock people with combinations now he just seems to throw the 1-2 and box on the back foot behind the jab.

This isn't the end of him despite the trolls on here saying it is. I do think he needs to look at changing his trainer though. He's regressing under McCracken.

Plus, in all honesty, he ain't ready for Wilder's punches, and Wilder doesn't keep his head in the same spot for target practice. He'd have a punchers chance, but that's about it.

I agree, but I give Ruiz a shot to survive, but not win. Mexicans probably have the most granite chins in boxing. Canelo/Morales/Barrera/De La Hoya/Castillo the list goes on and on. You usually have to go to the body to take Mexicans out.

Not at the lower levels, Vic routinely disposed of Mexican fighters.

Though, I do believe Ruiz has a punchers shot of getting a KO, not winning on the cards. That'd never happen, unless it was in Mexico and the judges were the same ones with all the Canelo fights.

It always amazes me how legend mexican fighters are still pretty sharp mentally after their career is over, guys like Marquez, Chavez, De La Hoya etc are all very coherent while some retired black boxers seem punch drunk. Why is that?

Lol about Wilder getting the Ws even without fighting him. They both very well KTFO each other.

Ruiz was vastly underrated because of his physique which means little in boxing . He was an Olympian and his amateur record was 105-5 which means he actually has skills and can box. He had a good handspeed for heavyweight and arguably won the fight on his only L. Having said that, I believe Joshua will win the rematch in UK . Even if he has Joshua number , there few guys like Fury and Usyk who will outbox him in a boring fight. A fight against Wilder or Ortiz would be more interesting and most likely a burnburner

the facts slowly but surely come out .. joshua was not mentally there on saturday night .. look at his entrance .. he looked like he was taking a walk in the park when he usually comes out to this big show of an entrance .. I don't think I even heard music playing when he was walking out .. so it explains everything if he indeed did not want to fight
