2 best scorers in league history:
Warriors have Curry and Durant on the same team

2 best defenders in league history:
The Bulls had Pippen and Rodman on the same team

Who has/had the biggest luxury, the Warriors or Bulls?

Oh cool! Another interesting take from a Bronsexual. Let's see if throwing this at the wall will stick?

How old was Rodman in Chicago?

Also, why were the Bulls looking to trade him in 97 and 98?

Or rather, why was he coming off the bench?

Because after the 96 finals, MJ talked with Krause about how he didn't want a teammate to have a chance at stealing his FMVP ever again.

I dunno

Sports media certainly wasn't kind to Rodman, idk if that has anything to do with Krause

That's from 98. By then the Nike smear campaign in media had already run its course. Rodman had been delegitimatized. Nike and Stern both knew who their cash cow was and that he needed to be not only glorified but protected. This historical account has been largely obfuscated by David "I know where the bodies are buried" Stern.

So you're using stats to make your decision?

Biggest luxury is having the two best players besides yourself in a pathetically weak conference.

It makes getting to the Finals a cupcake walk.

And nothing remotely special. And then when facing real competition in the Finals going 3 for 8.

Cavs had the biggest luxury. It had the best scorer, playmaker, rebounder, shotblocker.

Scorers. No disrespect to Giannis and Rudy or whoever you want to choose for defenders, but Bron + Steph would be unfair.

Rodman and pippen don't complement each other as well as kd n curry.

A better example would be like Ben Wallace and pip. Neither of pip or Rodman were a true rim protector. Or kawhi and kg.

Having a big means more than old ass Rodman. But I think it depends. But it has to be someone who can check perimeter too, and hopefully a wing who can lock down a primary scorer and block shots and get steals on help.

I favor defense, but I do not know if we've ever seen a comparable duo on d to Curry and kd.

Yeah, so the third scoring option on a team would almost never get the opponent's best defender.
