The bulls were 21-32 without MJ in 1986
9-9 with him
FYI - he played the goat celtics closer with his 21-32 cast than lebron played the old 14' Spurs with his defending champion cast

It's pathetic that MJ had to wait until the Bird Celtics, Isiah Pistons, and Magic Lakers got old and decrepit before he could beat them. Guy was a scavenger that dominated the weakest era in NBA history. The 90s were a wasteland of talent after the golden age of 80s super teams retired.
Lebron didn’t have to wait for anyone to get old to beat him. They already were old.

Gervin was still in his early 30s and just came off a superstar season in which he averaged 26ppg per 36
Big difference
Shaq literally came off an All-Star season in the WEST the year before he joined LeBron on 21/10/2blks per 36 :lol

:facepalm :facepalm :facepalm That team went 21 - 43 without him that season.. it had nothing to do with him not fitting them because they had a top 10 offense for the season but they were dead last on defense. George Gervin was finished come Playoff time against Boston and Woolridge was ineffective in that series as well, you can't tell me that MJ had to do more than break the Playoff record in points just to have a close game..
Those guys were overrated GARBAGE. They could have won in the first round had the Bulls FO not kept MJ out for so long and actually had a better record. Jordan had to sneak past his FO and train in private because they wanted to shut him down for the season, Jordan wasn't having it.
