Yeah, no shit. If Curry beats the Raptors, without Klay AND KD, I'll put him in my top 10.

It's a home game, Warriors should be able to pull it off.

heaven forbid Curry may have to guard someone instead of standing in the corner with Danny Green

If Steph leads the Dubs back to win this series, I'll rock a Steph avy forever and permanently keep the sentences "Curry is the greatest player in NBA history. **** MJ, Magic and Bird." in my sig.

Nvm he still has a DPOY, an all-NBA and a FMVP on his team :oldlol:

Raptors need to extend their rotation. Can anyone outside of Ibaka and VanVleet play more minutes?

Perfect opportunity for Curry to lose the Finals choke artist label. He needs to come up big tonight without anybody else to lean on.

This is the dumbest shit I've ever heard

Curry has never been a carry-job guy or a great championship performer, yet you'll assign him a value that he isn't worth based on one series that he has yet to dominate??.. :facepalm

Again - dumbest shit I've ever heard

If the Warriors somehow win without Klay/KD, it will be a team effort, not some carry job by curry.. and Draymond will deserve MVP but the media might feel sorry for the little fella and give it to curry anyway

This post shows a fundamental misunderstanding with Curry. He doesn't do a takeover because it is better for him to work through others. What he does pulling multiple defenders out to the perimeter and creating lots of spacing is something others cannot do. Jordan could not do what Steph does. But because he doesn't copy what other all-time greats have done he isn't credited for the success even though that success was only possible because of him. Steph has created his own category but he is being judged by standards made for others. If Jordan was judged by the standards Steph excels in he wouldn't look as good as he was either.

Every ball-handler in the league gets shaded off screen-rolls by a 2nd defender - only in today's era of bullshit narratives does curry get extra credit for this

That's just how today's game plays - the Warriors are good because curry doesn't dominate the ball and the ball moves - the standard shading on screen-rolls has little to do with it

The reality is that Curry has a lower impact on his team's ORtg than.... Everyone (http://insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=467591)

His game is overblown and overrated

6-17 last game.... and I know your rebuttal - b-b-but he gets shaded like every other ball-handler in the league.... :facepalm .. you guys love babying the little guy... :facepalm

If anything it just makes the teams more fair. They still have two all star hof's and the much better system. Raps only have one Hof who is hobbled at that. Raps bench is a bit better so it's actually pretty even.

Not from half court they don't. That's a Curry thing.

The net difference looks like a very healthy number and it's not even taking into account he was deferring to KD on the scoring front for much of the period in question leaving him out of rhythm.

Who are the two all-star HoFs on the Warriors and the one HoF on the Raptors you are talking about?

From what I can see Curry is the only surefire Hall-of-Famer that's not out. The Raptors have Kawhi, Lowry and Gasol as possible candidates and they are in a great position to boost their chances if they win this series.

Curry averages 25/6/6/2 in the Finals. Not just that, he's not even remotely in the GOAT conversation and he has had better Finals than some of 1-9. Eat shit, ******.

Just like how it was a team effort on the '91-'93 and '96-'98 Championship teams. No wonder. Pippen and Rodman got FMVP nods. Dudes carried 1-9. The only reason why Ordan has FMVP's after '93 is because the media felt sorry for him. Would've been different if they know that 1-9 got his dad killed.

Is that who Curry's guarding? Green averaged 3.5 pts a game last round, now he's almost triple that at 9.5 :oldlol:

Assuming it's not due to dubious officiating it would be pretty impressive. The raps aren't an amazing atg team but the Gsw are really depleted w o klay too. Like they were saying they gotta get cuz some looks haha imagine thinking cuz would be a focal point of the wars offense in the finals.

Klay prol not done for good tho and tor is hit or miss. It's theirs to lose. Can't put him in the top ten for that cuz u know my shit but he'll Def enter the top thirty looool. Nah but it's be great for his legacy. I don't really like updating people's legacy in real time. Let's wait til it's all ova.

They have Curry and Dray right now. Cousins literally got injured earlier these playoffs and is nowhere close to 100 percent.

Now you have Klay missing a game.

And of course, the best player in the league (KD) has not played...

I mean are you really going to act like Raps would be up 2-1 with Klay/Cousins/KD healthy???
