View Full Version : Siakam has to be the current FMVP frontrunner no?

Siakam in TOR's two wins: 25/9/6 66% FG, 2 turnovers per game STELLAR team and individual defense

Kawhi: 26.5/8/6 45% FG, 3 turnovers per, hasn't been very good defensively in this series.

Game 1: Siakam was indisputably the reason they won

Game 2: A total team effort

If one is objective you HAVE to go with Spicy P

Siakam's g2 pulls him way down. Kawhi should be ahead of him. imo the FMVP thus far is Curry.

The 2 games curry statpadded are the 2 games warriors lost.

Curry is in dead last.

No, he's not.

If the Warriors win, Curry will win it.

if the Raptors win, Leonard will win it.

Something could change for Leonard to not win it if the Raptors win, but Curry is a lock now if the Warriors win it.

In all seriousness, you've gotta give it up for Curry for tonight, despite the 4 or so times he obviously tried to draw (and usually got) stupid-ass shooting fouls

If Warriors win, it will be because Durant returned and won them the series.

Theres no way they could justify giving curry a fmvp if the warriors go down 1-3, but end up winning the series after durant returned. That would be ludicrous... theres a reason Iggy won fmvp eith 12ppg. It's because curry is a no impact having statpadder and the voters know this.

If by some miracle he does win it, it will be a totally unearned and bogus gift by the voters who will want to be different and create an interesting story. (The media has been pushing curry for years... they desperately want him to win a fmvp)

More excuses to show his obnoxious parents and fat liberal wife which appealS to the average TV/ESPN watching American

Curry winning fmvp makes the average voter more money, but I'd like to think they have more dignity than that. (Iggy winning in 2015 confirmed they do)

I'd give it up if he hit shots that had impact and wasnt down double digits all game while being blown out at home

That's just pathetic

How did he statpad this game? Who the **** else was gonna score on that team with Klay and KD out?

I disagree with virtually everything you say here.

Curry will win and be deserving of finals MVP if the Warriors win.

Because they were down double digits all game and his points had no impact

Diminishing returns when hes getting smoked on the other end and monopolizing the ball while relegating superstars and former fmvps to role player status

Cousins is a former 33/15/8 type player and curry cant get 10 points out ofhim? That's the definition of selfish, lowIQ, non championship caliber basketball

Obvious choice is Curry but on the Toronto side it should be Kawhi. Siakam was great for game 1 but horrible for game 2. Game 3 he was all right.

Yup right now Kawhi after 3 games.

And the FMVP will be probably still Kawhi, so consistent, always give you a bunch of points and high efficiency.

game 3 he had 18/9/6 on 50% shooting and was the best defensive player on the court with by far a game high +22

Siakam SHOULD be leading but Kawhi having more PPG will prolly get him it if Raps win............Siakam needs one more HUGE game with Kawhi being off and he can take it clearly for the narrative

Right now it's between Curry and Danny Green

Currently Danny Green for taking out Klay and shooting lights out, going up 2-1

The numbers are ok but when I see the game, I don't find Siakam that impactful. If anything Lowry is much more impactful. Also, +- numbers are pretty useless in a one game context.

Kawhi is averaging 29/10/5 on 64% TS. It's not close, he is and will be the Finals MVP.

Spicy P isn't able to produce like that if Leonard doesn't draw all that attention on offense in Game 1 & Kawhi was better in Game 3 so it's easily Leonard right now and it's not even close.

So basically Siakam doesn't exist if Kawhi doesn't play next to him?

Ok buddy it's time to go back to bed.

Most of his buckets were in straight up isos and a few in transition, Kawhi may have had an impact on maybe 3 of his buckets, he creates for Kawhi too don't forget abd imo has had a better defensive series than Kawhi.
