A betting website has the following two bets:

Raptors +0.5 points in regulation, odds 153
Raptors moneyline in regulation, odds 175

Why would their algorithyms allow two different odds for what are basically the same bet? (or am i not drinking caffeinated coffee)

The raptors + 0.5pts means that you win the bet if the Raptors win the game or if it's tied at the end of the 4th quarter and it goes to overtime.

The raptors moneyline means that the Raptors have to win the game. Not sure why it specifies in regulation though. I guess if its tied at the end of the 4th its a draw and you get your money back. But usually moneyline in betting include overtimes too
